New York state Governor Kathy Hochul (D) said voting for Republicans who support former President Donald Trump in this election makes you both "anti-woman" and "anti-American."
Hochul made the comments during an appearance on MSNBC on Saturday.
The Democrat governor discussed how she has been able to tie Republicans to Trump, something that, in her sheltered view, is a plus for fellow party candidates in the coming election.
"It gave me a chance to tie the Republicans running in these seats - the incumbents - closer to Donald Trump, and remind everybody if you're voting for these Republicans in New York, you are voting for someone who supports Donald Trump," Hochul said.
"And you're anti-woman, you're anti-abortion, and basically you're anti-American," she added. "Because you have just trashed American values and what our country is all about over and over and over."
"And you will wear this on Election Day."
It should be noted that no political party in history has trashed American values more than the Democrats. Yet they cast stones at conservatives as being anti-American, fascist, or supporters of Adolf Hitler.
By the way, Hochul has an all-time record low approval rating of just 34 percent. Trump has a favorable rating of 44 percent. Perhaps Hochul needs to do some self-reflection when more people despise her than a guy she feels is anti-American and who her party thinks is a Nazi.
Oh, and lest we forget, she oversees a state whose government just forcibly removed a pet squirrel from a private citizens' home and had it murdered. If there's anything more anti-American than killing someone's pets, you'd be hard-pressed to find it.
Hochul, as with most Democrat governors, lives in a bubble of support known as New York City and some swaths of Buffalo. This insulation is why she feels confident and empowered to say such things. In reality, the overwhelming majority of her state supports Trump.
The Empire State is a microcosm of the necessity of the electoral college - all of NY is controlled by small left-wing swamps when it comes to elections. Former gubernatorial candidate Lee Zeldin (R), in 2022, for example, lost to Hochul despite winning in 49 of the 62 counties in New York.
Democrat congressional candidates struggled mightily in 2022, in large part because Hochul was such a weak candidate at the top of the ticket. The GOP, in large part due to her weakness, managed to flip four seats in 2022.
Hochul's comments are yet another example of the Democrat party being wholly intolerant of those with opposing viewpoints. She's made similar comments in the past.
In 2022, she urged over five million Republicans to get out of New York altogether.
At a rally for Rep. Pat Ryan (D-NY) at the time, she indicated Democrats were "fighting for democracy" and fighting to keep government out of the hands of "dictators."
Gov. Kathy Hochul, at a NY19 rally for Pat Ryan today, said Republicans Donald Trump, Lee Zeldin and Marc Molinaro are "not New Yorkers" and suggested they should "go to Florida where you belong."

It's a similar sentiment to comments that got Gov. Cuomo in hot water in 2014. pic.twitter.com/qcoMrc2enj
"We're here to say the era of Trump and Zeldin and [Republican Rep. Marc] Molinaro -- just jump on a bus and head down to Florida where you belong, OK?" Hochul demanded. "Get outta town. Get outta town."
"Because you don't represent our values," she continued. "You are not New Yorkers."
It's funny how the tolerant left thinks if you don't support killing babies and don't focus on placating the LGBTQ Alphabet Mafia, you can only live in certain areas and are an enemy of America.
Governor Hocul had recently embarrassed herself by suggesting that Trump's rally at Madison Square Garden was a sign that he was "waving the white flag of surrender."
He then packed in a crowd of 20,000 who were often heard shouting the Trump battle cry, "Fight! Fight! Fight!"
