Democrats, you might be surprised to learn, are engaged in a current effort to spread an easily disproven lie.

I imagine it’s like breathing to them.

As many readers are already aware, there has been a spate of violent crimes recently – including rape and murder – at the hands of illegal immigrants who slipped through President Biden’s wide-open border.

There are two schools of thought from the left on how to respond to the American victims of these crimes. And I use the term "thought" incredibly loosely.

First, you have far-left Rep. Summer Lee (D-PA), who disgracefully pretended this week that she has never heard of 12-year-old rape and murder victim Jocelyn Nungaray.

“I don’t know who she is. I live in Pittsburgh,” Lee said when confronted by Fox News reporter Hillary Vaughn, who was seeking comment on Nungaray’s torture and killing in Houston.

“I live in Pittsburgh. I don’t know anything about it.”

Now, it’s safe to say that 99 percent of the time, the words "I don’t know anything about it" are, in fact, applicable when it comes to Lee’s grasp of current affairs. But she definitely has heard about the case. And she can definitely say her name — Jocelyn Nungaray.

Feigning ignorance is easy for Lee. It doesn’t even require much feigning. Others, though, need a different response when reporters come looking for answers and accountability.

The memo has clearly gone out from party spinsters that the proper response to these violent crimes at the hands of Biden’s brood of illegals is to say the following: ‘Illegal immigrants commit fewer crimes than Americans.’

It is as idiotic an argument as it sounds, folks.

“Undocumented immigrants commit far fewer crimes than anyone else,” Democratic Washington Rep. Pramila Jayapal said when confronted by the same Fox News reporter who questioned Lee.

California Rep. Robert Garcia (D) echoed that sentiment.

“We know that migrants oftentimes, and according to the data, according to police departments, are often less likely to actually commit crime than the natural born citizens,” he said.

Here’s Rep. Jerry Nadler (D-NY) saying essentially the same exact talking point: “If you look at the statistics, the crime rate among immigrants is far lower than the crime rate among native-born Americans.”

The memo, my friends, went out. And they’re following it word for word.

There are many reasons that this "fact," as they claim, is, in fact, misinformation. Let’s start with the reality that every single person who walks (or flies thanks to Air Biden) across the southern or northern border is, by the very nature of the act, committing a crime.

It’s in the description: illegal alien. It is illegal to cross the border of a sovereign nation without proper authorization or permission. Hence, the crime rate amongst that group of individuals is 100 percent.

The other problem with this argument is that, again, by the nature of the descriptors, it is ridiculously impossible to study these kinds of crimes. Why? Let’s go ahead and use the term Democrats like to go with when it comes to illegal aliens. Jayapal said it above – "undocumented."

If the segment of the population you are studying is undocumented, then it’s absurd to suggest that studies have documented their criminal activity.

I warned you that the argument is as dumb as it sounds. In any case, where a victim reports a crime carried out by an illegal immigrant, the police can’t track that person down because … there aren’t any documents on them.

Guess what happens if you can’t locate a criminal after a certain amount of time? The police will close the case. And it certainly doesn’t get filed as a statistic involving the illegal community.

Other crimes that can’t be tracked by these “studies”:

• Illegal on illegal crime. (No documents for victim or perpetrator!)

• Anything committed by the 1.8 million known “gotaways” roaming the countryside.

• Anything committed by the scores and scores of unknown “gotaways” roaming free.

It’s really a cute pro-crime industry Democrats have put together here. Allow criminals into the country. Release them without tracking their whereabouts. Say, "They magically commit less crime!"

It’s like watching a bank robber steal from the vault, letting them go, and then describing the loss of money as an "undocumented withdrawal."

Yes, they do think you’re that stupid.

Alright, so we’ve gotten past the semantics and the false arguments being doled out by the Democrats. Let’s dive into the actual crimes that nearly every illegal immigrant commits when crossing the border.

18 U.S.C. § 911 is a federal law in the United States that makes it illegal for a person to falsely and willfully represent themselves as a citizen of the United States. 

The law states that anyone who violates this provision can be fined under the title or imprisoned for not more than three years, or both.

A 100 percent crime rate. And we haven’t even dipped into laws involving false statements on government forms and social security fraud in order to apply for a job.

A 2018 report from CNS News showed that the Internal Revenue Service (IRS) ignored over 1.3 million cases of identity theft by illegal immigrants between 2011 and 2016.

Think that number has ballooned under the Biden administration? Both the theft and the ignoring of it? Care to wager if those crimes are counted in the Democrat-cited studies about illegals vs. Americans on crime?

As the crisis at our border escalates, Democrats are working to deflect attention from the alarming reality that illegal immigrants are committing crimes in American cities nationwide. In many cases, violent and abhorrent crimes. On a much higher scale than even the media is willing to report.

The reason they tell the lie that these people are committing crime at a lesser rate is to avert your eyes from this simple fact: Every single one of them is preventable by closing the border.

Every single one.

They want you to forget that Rachel Morin, a mother of five brutally raped and murdered by an illegal alien, would be alive today. 

They want you to forget that 22-year-old nursing student Laken Riley, who was murdered by an illegal alien while out on a jog, would be alive today.

They want you to forget that 12-year-old Jocelyn Nungaray, who fought off her illegal alien attackers with everything she had, would be alive today.

But then, that’s what Democrats do. They always side with violent illegal aliens over the American people. 

That, for sure, has been thoroughly documented.
