A shocking new revelation from the Department of Homeland Security (DHS) indicates dozens of illegal aliens linked to an ISIS-affiliated human smuggling operation are roaming the United States unaccounted for. It is an operation years in the making, aided and abetted by Democrats like Nancy Pelosi (D-CA) and President Joe Biden.

A new report out of NBC News, not exactly a bastion of right-wing commentary, indicates DHS has identified over 400 illegals as “subjects of concern” because they “were brought by an ISIS-affiliated human smuggling network.”

NBC, citing three U.S. officials as their sources, notes that over 150 of those linked to the ISIS operation have been arrested but “the whereabouts of over 50 remain unknown.”

Former FBI counterterrorism section chief Christopher O’Leary says, “The fact that the whereabouts were unknown is clearly alarming.”

O’Leary says the DHS is “scrambling to locate these individuals, and using the immigration charges is not uncommon.”

Think about that for a minute. It really is that simple.

“They are in violation of that law,” he added. “And if you need to take somebody off the street, that’s a good approach to do it.”

Fantastic. Let’s extend that enforcement of the law to every illegal. Doing so would eliminate the need to discern potential terrorists and the rapists and murderers currently attacking Americans.

As for those definitively associated with the ISIS-affiliated human smuggling operation, this DHS report sounds like an investigation led by Chief Clancy Wiggum from the Simpsons.

Over 400, according to the report, were released into the U.S. by Customs and Border Protection (CBP). After they were given a head start, authorities managed to track down just 150 of them. This means roughly 62% of them are still in the country, 20% of which are unaccounted for.

‘Send them out amongst the populace, we’ll try to pick them up eventually’ is exactly what you’d expect from this administration.

This has been an aiding and abetting of ISIS by Democrats years in the making.

A study published in Homeland Security Today in 2019 revealed an ISIS plot to send terrorists through the U.S.-Mexico border by taking advantage of smuggling and migration routes.

The information came from an actual ISIS fighter who was interviewed after being captured in Syria in early May of that year.

“Whatever one thinks of President Donald Trump’s heightened rhetoric about the U.S.- Mexico border and his many claims that it is vulnerable to terrorists, ISIS apparently also thought so, as knowledge of this ISIS plot came from the mouth of a now-repentant ISIS cadre,” the report reads.

This was just a few months after then-House Speaker Nancy Pelosi and Homeland Security Secretary under President Trump, Kirstjen Nielsen, got into a heated discussion about attempts by terrorist networks and hardened criminals to infiltrate the border.

Nielsen reportedly told Democrats at a White House meeting that border officials along the U.S.-Mexico border had apprehended about 3,000 people with terrorist ties and 17,000 criminals last year.

Pelosi’s response? “I reject your facts.”

“These aren’t my facts,” Nielsen fired back. “These are the facts.”

Sen. Dick Durbin of Illinois followed up Pelosi’s willful ignorance with some of his own, calling Nielsen’s warnings “preposterous” and scoffing about her “saying that we have all these terrorists and criminals and all these people on their way in.”

Is ignorance of the crime despite being a clear accessory still actionable? Shouldn’t these lawmakers be held accountable for aiding and abetting terrorists?

Years later, Trump and Nielsen’s warnings about terrorists coming through the border came to fruition. CNN reported in 2023 that the Keystone Cops at the FBI were desperately trying to track down a dozen illegal immigrants after officials found out that they crossed the southern border with the aid of a smuggler with ties to the terrorist group ISIS.

Now the same ragtag group is trying to track down another 50 illegal aliens with ties to an ISIS-affiliated operation. 

Earlier this month, ICE arrested eight suspected terrorists with ISIS ties living in Los Angeles, New York, and Philadelphia. These reports destroy a Democrat and media narrative that has been propped up over the years - The idea that evidence of those actually detained at the border who are on the terror watchlist is proof that the system is working to keep bad actors out of the country.

Democrats have consistently spun reports of arrested illegals being identified on the terror watchlist as evidence that the Biden administration is successfully flagging such threats.

The fact that the administration is now scrambling to hunt down potential terror-tied illegals squashes that idea. It’s clear that only a percentage of these illegals are flagged and caught.

None of this takes into account the 1.8 million known “gotaways” who slipped past Border Patrol and into the country since Biden took office. They’re releasing terrorists into the country and then hoping the FBI and DHS can track them down before something happens.

Democrats will be an accessory to any crime or attack that occurs at the hands of these individuals, God forbid.

Will they be held accountable for intentionally allowing an invasion of potential enemy combatants?
