Tonight is the first big contest of the 2020 Democrat primary season. While the clear favorite is Bernie Sanders and Pete Buttigieg seems to have second place sewed up, the real interest is further down the list. Joe Biden has already written New Hampshire off, so anything more than fifth can arguably be a good night for him. Amy Klobuchar has been surging and a third place finish by her could knock Warren out of the race. No word yet if the super special phone app used in Iowa will play a role here tonight…
