Former GOP presidential candidate and Massachusetts Governor Mitt Romney announced Friday morning he is officially running in Utah for the U.S. Senate.

Romney began dropping hints he would run shortly after Sen. Orrin Hatch announced he would be retiring at the end of his current term.

The event of one person running and winning statewide elections in two different states is definitely a feat few in history could pull off, but Mitt Romney is one of them.
