It looks like Donald Trump attorney, Michael Cohen, won’t be the only one looking to shop a tell-all book about the past escapades of the President.
To prove he didn’t violate campaign finance law, Cohen admitted publicly he paid porn star Stormy Daniels $130,000 to keep quiet about the affair when Trump decided to run for office.
The non-disclosure agreement proved largely closing the barn doors after the cattle were out, however. Daniels spoke to In Touch magazine about her affair with The Donald years before she was paid off for signing the NDA.
But now that Cohen has admitted there was a payment made for her silence — effectively nullifying the agreement that she not speak about the affair — a manager for Daniels says she’s ready to talk (again).
Gina Rodriguez says the actress, whose real name is Stephanie Clifford, will discuss her alleged 20006 extramarital affair with Trump.
One can only imagine Trump will dispatch his minions to try and negotiate another agreement. Or, in what seems equally as likely for the Reality Star-in-Chief, he could simply call it “fake news,” let the media and La Résistance melt down have a field day with it. Either way, it’s another example of Trump being the cause of his own problems.
As we’ve learned over the past year or so, decorum, propriety, and feeling ashamed and penitent have no place in the Trump sphere.
