Nikki Haley’s tenure as the U.S. Ambassador to the U.N. has turned out to be Donald Trump’s smartest appointment of his presidency so far. This week, with the vote to condemn the U.S.’s intention of moving its embassy from Tel Aviv to Jerusalem, her commanding presence has been invaluable.

All that being said, her reactions to hypocritical nonsense from other foreign ministers have quickly become meme-worthy.

The latest is a snapshot of Haley as the Turkish Foreign Minister, Mevlüt Çavuşoğlu, spoke to the General Assembly about what a big, bad meanie the U.S. is for saying we’re moving our embassy…after decades of saying we would.

She’s clearly saying something amusing.

It’s not always possible to maintain seriousness when a representative of a repressive country like Turkey is saying things like, “We will not be intimidated! You can be strong but this does not make you right!”

True. But, in this case, we are.
