We now know that Russia was made aware of the United States’ intent to bomb facilities in Syria that launched gas attacks against its own people earlier this week.

Prior to the assault on the Syrian targets, Secretary of State Rex Tillerson spoke with Russia’s Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov, but the exchange did not go well.

Lavrov, i.e. The Kremlin, blames al Queada — a group who can’t even get clean water for its soldiers and supporters — for the gas attacks.
The president and secretary of state had obviously had enough of the subterfuge.
