White House Deputy Chief of Staff and Director of the Presidential Personnel Office, Dan Scavino, made an intriguing post on X that had everyone talking. It's not hard to see why.
Warning for graphic language:
When you get fired for doing a spectacularly shitty job at an agency, with your badge deactivated, building access revoked, and the full “you’re dead to us” package—or when you get passed over for Ambassadorships, Boards, or Commissions—because there are candidates who are…

When you get fired for doing a spectacularly shitty job at an agency, with your badge deactivated, building access revoked, and the full “you’re dead to us” package—or when you get passed over for Ambassadorships, Boards, or Commissions—because there are candidates who are actually far more qualified than you, please resist the urge to sprint to every media outlet that will platform your lying bull shit, and then falsely attack the people in the Presidential Personnel Office who are out here serving President Trump, the Administration, and the American people each and every day—Just take the L, and move on, LOSER
Thank you for your attention to this matter!
That's one heck of a smackdown — "the full 'you're dead to us' package"? That's lowering the boom. Sounds like they know exactly who is leaking/telling tales to the media, and Scavino is putting that person on blast to let him/her know they know.
That immediately sparked speculation about whom he was talking about. Who fits the description and has been attacking the Presidential Personnel Office (Scavino's team that is responsible for political appointments)? One would think it's also about a current comment/attack.
The most common guess from people on X was Joe Kent, the former director of the National Counterterrorism Center from 2025 to 2026. But he doesn't appear to fit all the parameters.

Scavino also has an "or" in there, so he may be referring to more than one person: the first with access revoked and the other who wanted the positions/ambassadorship.
People, including media, were salivating for a name.

However, Dan Scavino was playing it close to the vest and wasn't naming names.
But people were loving that he was nuking the person/people.

We'll probably find out more on this as time goes on.

But I suspect the individual(s) it's directed at know/knows it's directed at them, and we may hear a response from them coming soon. So we'll see who says what.
