You might think that Iran would be happy after President Donald Trump announced that he would be continuing the ceasefire until their proposal is submitted and discussions are concluded.
But they actually seem very mad about the ceasefire being extended.
Iran State TV: Iran does not recognize the extension of the ceasefire announced by Trump. It may not commit to it and will act in accordance with its national interests.

Why? Because the blockade continues. Just because they aren't having bombs dropped on them doesn't mean they aren't still getting choked out by the blockade.
We've been talking about the economic pain that the blockade is causing their economy.
But Treasury Secretary Scott Bessent explained how the Iranian Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC), specifically, the guys behind the regime, are being hit right in their wallet big time.

As @POTUS has made clear, the United States Navy will continue the blockade of Iranian ports. In a matter of days, Kharg Island storage will be full and the fragile Iranian oil wells will be shut in. Constraining Iran’s maritime trade directly targets the regime’s primary revenue lifelines.
The @USTreasury will continue to apply maximum pressure through Economic Fury to systematically degrade Tehran’s ability to generate, move, and repatriate funds. Any person or vessel facilitating these flows—through covert trade and finance—risks exposure to U.S. sanctions. We continue to freeze the funds stolen by the corrupt leadership on behalf of the people of Iran.
Why is Kharg so important?
Ninety percent of Iran's crude oil comes through a terminal on the island - transported through pipes from the mainland. [....]
The tankers then come back down the Gulf and out of the Strait of Hormuz, to China - the main buyer of Iranian oil.
A terminal for the export of Iranian oil, the island provides a major source of revenue for the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC).
So the U.S. is effectively taking out Kharg without having to invade it, without having to seize it, or put any lives at risk in that kind of a process. Bessent is saying it will be "shut in" within a matter of days — meaning they will have to shut down, and this could cause damage. So they either cough up a real deal or they strangle.
Bessent also said they were going to continue to seize and freeze the regimes' funds otherwise, such as in Gulf state banks.

So at this point, the IRGC has to be pulling their hair out.
This isn't just hitting a random bridge; it's taking their money.
Their economy was already in trouble — that's one of the reasons people began protesting in January. Then the regime was bombed and blockaded, turning up the economic screws even more. That's why they're mad.
We should have a daily update like this on key levers of the rump regime’s hold on power that are on an egg timer. Gasoline, banks teetering, payroll, etc. This is the way. https://t.co/a4cbyAiUlK
