Mayor Jacob Frey Doubles Down After ICE Shooting, Makes Things Worse

Mayor Jacob Frey made despicable comments right after the ICE shooting of Renee Good in Minneapolis, calling it "murder" and inciting the people of his city, rather than calling for calm and waiting for the facts. He also cursed ICE and told them to "get the f**k out" of the city.

After the new cellphone video of the ICE shooting in Minnesota of Renee Good, the Democrats should have stopped pushing their divisive rhetoric and apologized for their lies.

But they didn't. Indeed, their divisiveness got worse and more indefensible. I previously wrote about the despicable graphic the Democrats posted on their X account, completely leaving out the agent being hit.

What Mayor Jacob Frey said on Friday showed that Democrats don't live in reality. While he appeared to finally accept the agent was hit by "Renee," he didn't give a darn about the law or the injury to the agent, which he belittled. This is sick.

"I mean, the ICE agent walked away with a hip injury that he might as well have gotten from closing a refrigerator door with his hips," Frey said derisively.

"He was not injured," he claimed. "Give me a break...He walked out of there with a hop in his step."

Frey seemed to be mocking that immediately after being hit, the agent appeared to hop, as he briefly limped away. How can you be a mayor and talk like this, and pretend to care about the law? This is off-the-charts lunacy, particularly for a mayor with a city that has had things burned to the ground in riots in the past. The Democrats have moved from the "he wasn't hit" claim to the "oh, well, he wasn't really hurt" part of the shifting narrative.

Frey doesn't know how much the agent was injured. But even if the agent happened to be lucky and not be injured badly, that doesn't justify hitting him, nor negate his right to defend himself. No, he doesn't have to wait until he's dead to take action.

Moreover, who hurts their hip shutting a refrigerator door, and what kind of lame take is that?

I think it's safe to say people found his response seriously twisted.

Insane.

But Democrats want to keep the outrage against ICE and President Donald Trump going, no matter who it might hurt. And this is leading to things like the anti-ICE mobs damaging hotels as they looked for ICE agents to try to harass on Friday night. The mob even chased police down the street at one point, throwing things at them.

Mayor Frey, take a bow.
