The Democrats' reaction to President Donald Trump's historic peace deal in Gaza has been interesting.
Some on the left had the grace to give him the credit he deserved. Then, you had folks like former President Barack Obama, who, while welcoming the deal, couldn't bring himself to even mention Trump's name. That was truly petty, and even CNN's Kaitlan Collins called him out on that.

Then there were folks like Sen. Elizabeth Warren (D-MA) who seemed to be implying that she had something to do with the achievement in her remarks, when, of course, she had nothing to do with it.
For two excruciating years, I have called for the return of the hostages brutally kidnapped on October 7th and held in Gaza.

Today is a good day. Surviving Israeli hostages are finally home and reuniting with loved ones. I'm thinking of them and their families on this joyful day and praying for their full recovery. I'm also grieving for all those who can't come home today.
Today must also be an important step toward lasting peace in the region — peace for both Israelis and Palestinians. We must end the war in Gaza, surge humanitarian aid, and negotiate a two-state solution now.
Yes, I'm sure they rolled over and agreed to a deal because Liz said something. Not.
If anything, the left made a peace deal harder with their radical protests, which gave Hamas the idea that they could hold out.
And "calling for" something doesn't get results unless you work to make it happen. Democrats are great at talking, but they don't get results, like Trump does.
Many on X, like Sen. Ted Cruz (R-TX), reminded her that what she should have said was, "Thank you, President Trump."
How on earth do you post this note without uttering the words “Donald J. Trump”??

Partisanship blindness and hatred are tearing us apart. https://t.co/pvyUKVv7H7
But like Obama, she lacks the grace.
Funny enough, Elizabeth Warren’s 1/1024th Native American ancestry is still a larger percentage than her contribution to rescuing hostages or achieving a Middle East peace deal. https://t.co/c5EQCcAuZ8

However, as our sister site Twitchy reported, Vice President JD Vance just leveled her effort to glom onto the deal by referencing her 1/1024 claim to native American heritage.
The president told me he did this on Indigenous Peoples Day in honor of you. https://t.co/KsTPzHQ2yz

"The president told me he did this on. Indigenous Peoples Day in honor of you," Vance jokingly replied
That's quite the mic drop, and people on X loved it. If Vance becomes the 48th president, he's certainly going to keep things lively.

Both he and Trump were in great form with the humor on Monday, at a prime trolling level.
They're marrying the humor with results, and that's a winning combination.
