Elon Musk and his DOGE team have done a huge amount of work to identify DOGE cuts and they've put a lot on the line in the process.

Musk faced threats not only to himself but to his company, Tesla, because of leftists who were whipped into a frenzy by Democrat lies about the work. He even had a Democrat threatening to investigate him if the Democrats got back into power.

The DOGE cuts were also a central part of the Trump agenda that people voted for.

People wondered where the Congressional action was to codify some of these cuts. "Codify the DOGE cuts" was trending on X on Wednesday.

Now, the Office of Management and Budget (OMB) Director Russ Vought confirmed on Fox Business that they will be bringing a bill next week, Monday or Tuesday, when Congress is back in session with a DOGE cuts package.

"They will get our first recessions bill," Vought said. He said this first package will include foreign aid, USAID, the Corporation for Public Broadcasting and NPR. He said they had already been talking with Congress to ensure it was something that could pass the House. He said he was "excited for that to happen next week."

Larry Kudlow replied that they would only need a simple majority for the bill to pass. He also noted that this is the first package, and that the White House would have more coming.

Two Republican officials confirmed to Politico the inclusion of NPR, PBS, and foreign aid. Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene (R-GA) also confirmed it was coming on Monday, according to her understanding. She said she was for the cuts.

It wasn't clear how much this would cover, in terms of money, but the subjects could cover a lot.

U.S. House Speaker Mike Johnson responded in a social media post that "the House is eager and ready to act on DOGE's findings so we can deliver even more cuts to big government that President Trump wants and the American people demand."

But it's important to get it done. If we're going to make substantial changes that need to be made, they need to codify things. Republicans have the majority, so now they should use it to put through what the American public voted for and wants.

People were very pleased on X with this announcement.
