President Donald Trump probably has done more work in the first 100 days than Joe Biden did in all the time he occupied the Oval Office, and Trump is still hard at it. He knows he has four years, and he's trying to do all he can in the time he has.
One hallmark of the Trump agenda is to get energy up and going again, to ensure our energy independence, dominance, and security. We're already seeing positives from that agenda, including lower gas prices, including the lowest gas prices for Memorial Day in years.

Part of that energy agenda is nuclear energy.
On Friday, Trump had an event signing executive orders to spur the industry.
Secretary of the Interior Doug Burgum spoke about how nuclear energy had been choked by regulations for 50 years and stagnated the industry.

Trump joked how, unlike Biden, everyone knew he was signing these, and there wasn't an "autopen" here.
Secretary of Defense Pete Hegseth outlined how this would be important for our national defense, not just our domestic production.

Then there was an order to reinvigorate the nuclear industrial base, to work with private industry on next-generation technologies to ensure our dominance and security.

The final nuclear order was one to reform testing so that it's working, but it isn't throttling the industry and the development of new reactors that could revolutionize the field.

Those executive orders will now "charge" up the industry to help America.
