Democrats have not been making smart moves since they lost the election. 

Their recent embrace of an illegal alien alleged MS-13 gang member has really sent them over the edge with the American people. How did they think that such a thing would help them?

Enter Florida Democrat Rep. Frederica Wilson, best known for her wild hats. 

Wilson visited the ICE Krome Detention Center in Miami on Thursday. Then she held a bizarre press conference on the side of a road amidst bushes as cars rushed by. It was perhaps apropos that she was in the weeds. 

But what she said was even wilder than the setting. First, she ranted about immigration detention policies, and she said they just needed "five Democrats" to take back power in the House. "And we'll use every power available...If we got five, we can control all of this." Then it really went off the rails with what she said next.

"I've been giving out the phone numbers to the House of Representatives and to the Senate. It's one number. That number you call and you threaten it. And you say, 'This is wrong. This is not America. This is not what we stand for. We need a change.' You have to do that. It's going to take the people...I've talked myself into oblivion. We need the people, we need an uprising, the people taking to the streets, and phones and writing letters. That's what we need."

Yikes. 

Shades of Rep. Maxine Waters (D-CA) and the "you push back" comment against members of the Trump administration. Calling on people to "threaten" like this is despicable. Add in calling for an "uprising" and it's sounding pretty insurrection-y.  

Wilson is wrong. She seems to forget -- we heard from the American public and what they wanted—the people voted for it in November, and they overwhelmingly support deporting illegal immigrants. She's the one fighting against the will of the people. And if there is, then more violence on the head of this, what will she say?

Wilson also posted on X, claiming ICE was targeting "hardworking immigrants" and said our government must end its "reign of terror against immigrant communities." She doesn't seem to understand the difference between illegal aliens who can be detained and deported for being here illegally and "immigrants," i.e., people who come in legally, through our country's proper process.  

Democrats are talking a lot now about due process to deport people, but don't seem to care about the proper process in order to come into this country. 

Keep it up, guys, you're just digging that hole deeper.
