Media Outlet Gets Dunked Over Vance Hit Piece That Went Horribly Wrong

There is a big reason people no longer trust the liberal media anymore and why they say you just can't hate them enough.

We reported how Vice President JD Vance had the opportunity to meet with Pope Francis before the pontiff died the following day. Vance and his family had the chance to tour the Vatican as well.

The Daily Beast story about Vance's visit to the Vatican is a sterling example of that lack of media credibility.

What rule is that? The rule not to take pictures inside the Sistine Chapel.

The shot was taken by a White House photographer, it was not a private shot by Vance.

The Daily Beast called it an "embarrassing gaffe" and "a White House publicity stunt" that revealed the "glaring faux pas." They even had "cardinal sin" stamped in red on the side of the story. They also published other angry comments in response to the post from Charlie Kirk.

Except the Daily Beast buried the lede further down in the story -- they had permission to take pictures.

A source close to the situation told the Daily Beast that the Vatican gave special permission for the photographer in question to take pictures inside the Sistine Chapel.

Oh.

Not to mention that other U.S. political figures have had pictures taken in the Sistine Chapel in the past, including Bill Clinton. There's even one of Michelle Obama.

Not to mention Vance was with Vatican officials showing him around while Vatican media themselves were taking video of the visit.

So why is this even a story at all when the whole premise is false? I saw the pictures of the visit with the Vatican officials; it wouldn't have taken five minutes to figure this out.

That's the media bias in full, glaring display.

But if liberal media wonders why they no longer have any credibility in the eyes of so many American people, it's stories like this. So instead of making Vance look bad, this just makes the Daily Beast look ridiculous as this effort went horribly wrong. Now they are being ripped for their hot take, and they deserve each and every criticism they get.
