The Reason Protesters Had a Big Fail Trying to Protest Vance - It Blows Up Another Leftist Narrative

Protesters gathered outside the Naval Observatory in Washington, D.C., trying to protest Vice President JD Vance on Saturday.

They checked the various boxes.

They had their pre-made signs, which indicates they were made by a group.

The protesters looked like they came from the local old folks home.

They had that person in the middle of the video with a unique message, holding the wild sign that says "ICE = Gestapo" -- so they're attacking basic law enforcement.

One of them even had a sign encouraging "Revolution 2025,"

Except what they didn't have was J.D. Vance.

You would have thought, in all this planning, someone would have tried to make sure that he was there to hear them. Sort of an important point. But like most leftist thought, a big part of reality was missing. You would have thought, maybe, they also would think trying to hassle someone in their home wasn't a good idea. They don't think like that either.

JD Vance has been in Rome, meeting with Italian Prime Minister Giorgia Meloni and visiting at the Vatican, since Good Friday with his wife and his children.

Folks on the left were spreading a fiction that Pope Francis didn't want to meet with him because of disagreements over the Trump administration's policies on illegal aliens.

But that was not true since Vance even got to meet the Pope on Easter Sunday, which one has to think doesn't happen often. Pope Francis gave him a rosary, a tie, and three Easter eggs for his children. Vance said it was good to see him in "better health."

They didn't meet for very long. Vance also met with the Vatican secretary of state and the foreign minister on Saturday. The pontiff had been ill from pneumonia and still looks like he hasn't fully recovered. Because he was still recovering, he delegated the celebration of mass on Easter Sunday to a cardinal.

So good job, leftists. You didn't quite get it right. You could open your eyes. Or it's going to be a long four years for you.
