I'm not sure why Keith Olbermann is still on X.
He was supposed to be gone a long time ago, flying the coop to the liberal echo chamber, Bluesky. Yet he's still there on X. It's a bit like when Democrats say they're going to flee to Canada when Trump got in the first time. Then they never leave. It's empty tantrum tossing, but the frustration is so amusing because they know they're losing.
When last we left him, he was having a fit at Elon Musk over the funding battle, and calling him a fascist. That did not end well when Musk just leveled him for his continual whining.

But Olbermann is still crying and posting strange things on X, including his recent posts about Jimmy Carter. He seemed to have some confusion when it comes to Robert F. Kennedy. "THE BEST PRESIDENT SINCE RFK IS DEAD," he said, then going on to talk about his "friend Jimmy Carter."
THE BEST PRESIDENT SINCE RFK IS DEAD. My friend Jimmy Carter would probably argue against my conclusion. I say he rebuilt a generation’s belief in government

Olbermann even earned a Community Note where they clarified that RFK was never president.
According to our friends at Twitchy, one account explained Olbermann had posted RFK post, then changed it to FDR blaming his "sadness" over Carter's death for the mistake, but then it was back to RFK again.
Last night, Keith posted that Jimmy Carter was the best president since RRK.

He then posted that Carter was the best president since FDR, and he confused RFK and FDR because he was sad.
This morning he returned to saying that Carter was the best prez since RFK. pic.twitter.com/SRMESpiche
Bizarre, and not just because of the reference to RFK. Who in their right mind thinks his "friend" Jimmy Carter was the best president since FDR?
First, FDR was a horrible president. Not only did he balloon the welfare state, but he also locked up Japanese-Americans who had committed no crimes for years, including little kids and whole families. There could hardly be something more offensive than that, and Democrats like Joe Biden and Keith Olbermann have just memory-holed that atrocity. Biden has actually called him his hero. So comparing Carter to that is damning with faint praise.
Then not only wasn't he the best in that time period, he was close to the worst, maybe only eclipsed by Joe Biden. Not only was he bad in office, he was horrible out of office, as Scott Jennings notes.
My thoughts on Jimmy Carter’s legacy last night on @cnn: terrible president, soundly rejected by the American people. Even worse ex-president, whose meddling in US foreign policy & virulent anti-Israel/anti-Semitic views must not be forgotten. Undermined US interests repeatedly. pic.twitter.com/kbBupU0K7O

Then Olbermann said Carter would have argued that a day after his death that the lead story should be that The Hill's op-ed that Trump could somehow be disqualified. Imagine thinking that way.

They just can't let it go. They have to believe that somehow Trump isn't going to happen, they just can't wrap their minds around it. Talk about election denialism.
That's the problem with Democrats, especially right now, they can't see out of their bubble and into reality.
