If you've been alive and coherent for the past few years, you know that Kamala Harris has a problem selling her campaign. 

First, she's already occupying office. So she's responsible for all the bad things that the Biden-Harris administration has wrought on the country. 

At the same time, she's trying to sell herself as the "change agent" and acts as though former President Donald Trump is the incumbent. 

So, how do you square that circle? Does she really think Americans are going to buy that? 

I mean, some will — there are some cult-like Democrats who will believe any narrative you give them to sow. But I don't see most of the independents buying that. And that's where this election is likely to hang — with the independents and undecideds. 

But Fox's Peter Doocy ripped apart this effort by Harris with one simple question.

He explained how Harris is always talking about things she claims she's done with Joe Biden. Then, when they refer to former President Donald Trump, the people at Harris events chant, "We're not going back!" "Like we're not going back to Trump because things are so good right now," Doocy said. 

That's when he dropped the boom. But if things are so good right now, he asked, why does the new banner at the Harris rally say "A New Way Forward"? It would stand to reason if things were good now, you don't need a new way forward. 

Exactly. It makes no sense. If things are good, why does she have to promise all kinds of things to make things better? She's responsible for the present failure; she can't run away from the fact that she's in there now. Trump made that a big point in his final statement in the debate, and that has really resonated with people. What are they not going back to? When we had more money in our pockets and fewer conflicts in the world? But I think most people aren't buying it.

Just as we were sold a bill of goods with Joe Biden, the "moderate" who has governed like a leftist, we're being sold she's about "joy" — and even that's a bit Orwellian, too. Forget about reality, just listen as we tell you everything is fine and joyful; just listen to the cackle, nothing else matters. They have nothing to sell us in achievement — that's all they can sling at us. They can't deal with reality. They know if they were honest, they wouldn't stand a chance. 

Unfortunately, I think that Harris slogan is a confession that they intend to go even further left, as it recalls the "Great Leap Forward" of the CCP. When you're a leftist, it isn't about logic. It's about saying anything you can to get or hold onto control.
