The anointing of Kamala Harris without even a single primary vote in the presidential race showed us that the Democratic elites don't give a darn about democracy, shoving Biden to the side and ignoring millions of voters, not because of Biden's health, but because they were afraid he was going to lose.
It also showed us how much the media was in the tank for the Democrats, with media immediately trying to bury or distance Kamala from the problems in her record, including the failures at the border. They even denied that she had been appointed the "border czar" -- playing word games despite Biden putting her in charge of slowing migration to the border.

The story noted that Harris did not "donate" to the Minnesota Freedom Fund.

CBS's story does acknowledge Harris' tweet but cites the Freedom Fund, claiming that she didn't donate to them. The fact that she didn't personally donate while asking everyone else to donate shows she's a hypocrite, in addition to being wrong on the issue. It doesn't change the fact that she helped to promote the fund and get them donations.
Plus, the quote CBS uses in their article for Trump says exactly that -- "helped."
Former President Donald Trump is using a 2022 Minnesota murder case to attack Vice President Kamala Harris.
Trump claims Harris helped raise millions and personally donated to a fund that got extra support to bail out protestors in the aftermath of George Floyd's death.
"One of the dangerous criminals Kamala helped bail out of jail was Shawn Michael Tillman," Trump said at a rally in Charlotte, North Carolina. "You know that name. A repeat offender who, with Harris's help, was set free. He then went on to murder a man on a train platform in St. Paul, Minnesota, shooting him in cold blood six times, lying on the ground."
It is true that the Fund bailed out Tillman on another charge in May 2022, and shortly thereafter, he murdered another man at the light rail station.
As the RNC pointed out, WCCO even grilled Kamala Harris about it back in 2022.

Kamala deflected, claiming she was supporting peaceful protest. But you don't generally get arrested for "peaceful protest," and as we saw at the time, there was a lot of violent "protest," and the Fund bailed out multiple violent accused criminals.
The WCCO tweet now has over seven million views, virtually all the tweets excoriating the station for trying to sell people this bilge. Even Elon Musk weighed in and ripped them.
