The Biden campaign and the Democrats have been imploding right and left since the presidential debate, trying to figure out what to do about the problem of Joe Biden. 

Unfortunately for them, there's only so much they can do. He's not getting any younger, and he's not going to get more coherent. This idea of getting him out more to prove himself I find odd too, as that just keeps reinforcing the issues. One of the funny things he said during his NATO press conference was this clip in response to the reports of him needing to not work after 8 p.m. He denied the report — said it was just about scheduling better than a 7 a.m. to 12 a.m. schedule. He spoke about how scheduled he was that particular day with NATO events and a union event.

Now, that was hilarious because I don't think he's ever had a 7 AM to midnight schedule of things in all the time he's occupied the White House. He has an incredibly light schedule most of the time; he's spent almost 40 percent of his time on vacation, generally in Delaware. But he made it clear they had scheduled him a full day for him to be able to say "Look at my full day." Congratulations, you had one. Then, of course, he also threw his staff under the bus for "adding things." 

So it's all about the appearance. But he's so addled he doesn't even realize he's admitting and giving away the game. 

Oh, and they've worked on the physical appearance, too. 

If you've noticed, post the debate where he was criticized not just for the bad performance but for looking pale and out of it, suddenly, Joe Biden seemed to have turned orange. You can see it in the featured picture above for this story as well as in this picture of the ABC interview with George Stephanopoulos.

That's absolutely hilarious. His people were trying to give us a snow job about his health by making him look like former President Donald Trump. How often have they attacked and tried to mock Trump as the Orange Man, and now here Biden is, plagiarizing Trump's look in order to try to save himself. 

Even the famously tanned George Hamilton noticed.

“It kind of gives him more of a sun-kissed, alive, terra-cotta Mediterranean, healthy look,” observed Irina Gottesman, founder of skincare line House of Gro.

“Everyone looks better with a little color.”

The famously copper-toned actor George Hamilton said he was also a fan of the new look. 

“Can’t we all lay out together and make America Tan Again?” he told The Post.

Biden’s naturally pale Hibernian hue was strikingly aglow in appearances almost immediately after the debate, including his sitdown with ABC News anchor George Stephanopoulos last week, which did nothing to silence mushrooming questions about his cognitive health. At a NATO press conference in Washington D.C. Thursday, a bronzed Biden referred to Ukrainian President Zelenskyy as “President Putin” and said he was running for re-election alongside “Vice President Trump.” 

The White House wasn't talking in response to queries about this sudden change. 

It's so Biden to rip off someone else to try to enhance himself. But frankly, he can't even hold a candle to Trump, who waves his fist in the face of an attempted assassin's bullets. 

But at this point, it looks like while he's trying to fool the American people, he's not staving off the backstabbing to take him out from his own party. From Rep. Nancy Pelosi (D-CA) to former President Barack Obama, the final push is on to get him out. And they don't give a darn how orange he makes himself when they're worried about their own interests, in holding onto seats in the House and the Senate. That's what they're concerned about: control. And they'll throw him under the bus if they think he stands in the way of that. 

But however you slice it, this orange man gambit just made Biden and his team look desperate and silly. And now, with alleged COVID, it hurts that narrative too. At this point, it looks like he might be out soon, but his team is still kicking and screaming that he isn't going anywhere. 

We shall see.
