Biden Campaign Spox's Unhinged Anti-Trump Rant Sure Sounds Like a Threat

We saw Biden campaign communications director Michael Tyler leading that train wreck of a campaign move outside the Trump trial in Manhattan with actor Robert De Niro. Whoever thought that up really should be canned for such a bad move because it immediately confirmed the political nature of the trial and how they were trying to use it in the election. It blew up all kinds of norms in the process.

You had them put De Niro out there ranting and raving about how former President Donald Trump wanted to destroy New York and the country and calling Trump supporters -- millions of Americans -- "clowns." That's what the Biden team is doing to try to whip up fear, not just against Trump but against millions of Americans as well.

Talk about a banana republic, and the Biden team is trying to fast-track us there, all in the interest of their desperate attempt to hold onto power.

Apparently, Tyler wasn't quite done trying to whip up the frenzy against Trump. He appeared on Fox News and claimed that Joe Biden was the candidate standing up for the rule of law.

You mean Biden -- the guy bragging about defying the Supreme Court on student debt?

But his unhinged language about Trump was especially concerning.

This is not a normal election. Donald Trump has already demonstrated that he is not a normal candidate. He is a fundamental, persistent, and growing threat to our democracy. And Joe Biden is running to make sure we end that threat, once and for all.

End "once and for all" -- talk about "not normal" -- this is not normal language against a political opponent. It had a lot of people on X believing it was a threat. You don't "end" political opponents; you debate them on policies. This is the language of banana republics.

This, as Democrats are also trying to end Trump's Secret Service protection.

How is Trump a threat to the Republic? Who is the real "threat" here? It isn't Trump putting political opponents on trial.

It isn't Trump smirking and not answering when he's asked whether he's behind the prosecution of his political opponent.

Trump isn't a threat to "democracy," he's a threat to their power. That's the real problem here and the "threat" is growing because he keeps beating Biden in the polls. The lawfare appears to have backfired so far. At this point, they're desperate -- that's why they're ratcheting up the language and pulling out desperate De Niro.
