The folks on the left have been embarrassing themselves badly since Sunday's effort by ABC's George Stephanopoulos to "rape-shame" Rep. Nancy Mace (R-SC) for supporting former President Donald Trump.

“As a rape victim... how can you endorse Trump?” he asked.

"I live with shame. And you're asking me a question about my political choices trying to shame me as a rape victim, and I find it disgusting," Mace responded.

Then Mika Brzezinski and Joe Scarborough lept into the cesspool of stupidity and also went after her — these people who claim to care about victims but truly only care about the political narrative they want to push.

So much for the #MeToo crowd. They apparently only care if the accused is a Republican. Otherwise, they will run you over.

Biden accuser Tara Reade then jumped into the fray. She wasn't having any of it, asking E. Jean Carroll how she could support Joe Biden, given Reade's accusations.

Now, Megyn Kelly has weighed in and just crushed Stephanopoulos starting all this. Kelly reminded Stephanopoulos of who he used to work for: Bill Clinton. She also went after Stephanopoulos for how the Clinton team went after the women who accused Clinton of sexual harassment/assault. "What a kind, sensitive man!" Kelly said. "Thanks for being an ally!" she said sarcastically.

Kelly said that Stephanopoulos had been involved in the shaming of Clinton victims, although he doesn't like to talk about it. "Did you worry then that this behavior might shame victims from coming forward?" Kelly said Stephanopoulos described himself as Clinton's "enabler." She brought up the infamous Clinton team shaming effort about "dragging 100 dollars through a trailer park" line about Paula Jones. Kelly also pointed out how Clinton ended up having to pay Jones almost a million dollars to settle her lawsuit.

But that's Democrats in a nutshell; it's always and only about how best they can hold onto power. Damn any other principles or people who might get in the way, including a real rape victim like Mace. Stephanopoulos was just shameless with what he did.

Many weighed in cheering Kelly's take, including the governor of Texas, Greg Abbott, one of Clinton's alleged victims, Juanita Broaddrick, and Biden's accuser, Tara Reade.
