Fani Willis Video About Not Engaging in Inappropriate Behavior With Staffers Comes Back to Haunt Her

The unraveling of Fani Willis has been fascinating to observe.

How interesting it is that the attempt to nail former President Donald Trump has managed instead to expose the left's own issues.

When last we left Willis, Fulton County Commissioner Bob Ellis was demanding answers about possibly "misused county funds." The funds in question involved Nathan Wade, the man she appointed as a special prosecutor in the case against former President Donald Trump and the man whom she allegedly had a romantic relationship with. Wade's wife also dropped a filing on Friday that included records of trips that her husband had allegedly paid for, for himself and Willis. Ellis wanted to know if county funds provided to Willis' office were used in an appropriate manner and whether any payments to Nathan Wade were "converted to [her] personal gain in the form of subsidized travel or other gifts."

The Wife Scorned Fires Back at Fani Willis, and She Drops Some Devastating Evidence

Now there's an old video that the Free Beacon has uncovered that's coming back to haunt Willis too because, under the "alleged" present circumstances, it's pretty funny.

Back in April 2020, she appeared on The Patricia Crayton Show (in a completely different room from the host because of COVID) while she was a candidate for her office. But in the interview, she spoke about how she would never be involved in a relationship with someone who worked for her because it was inappropriate.

Willis said she would not be allowing inappropriate contact with employees such as that which would make female staffers "uncomfortable" on her watch. "I certainly will not be choosing people to date that work under me. Let me just say that," Willis said.

She said that she didn't think the community was concerned about it, but she said it would certainly be "inappropriate" for the "number one law enforcement officer in the state." "It would be very unfortunate if the taxpayers of this community have to pay for any of those lawsuits," she declared.

She was talking about allegations in regard to a former Fulton County DA. That's incredibly ironic given the questions she's now facing from Fulton County Commissioner Ellis, with probably more investigations to come about her use of funds in regard to Wade. Looks like some interesting things happened on her "watch." Is she going to look back at her own words and resign? We all know the answer to that one, at least at the moment — so much for what a politician says during a campaign. She said what she thought the public wanted to hear, whether that had a relation to reality or not. You can't make this stuff up.

As one might imagine, people had a lot to say about the irony of the situation and Willis' apparent hypocrisy.
