Republicans Melt Down Over Smoking Gun Hunter Biden Email That Gives Away the Game

We’ve been covering the questionable activities of the Bidens and the Hunter Biden laptop now for four years. I’m gratified that we suddenly have more folks in the media and politicians paying attention.

Fox just reported about a Nov. 2, 2015 email “first on Fox” that is getting a lot of attention from Republicans because it screams “smoking gun” and shows that Hunter Biden and Burisma executives were talking about getting counter-messaging against any federal investigations into Burisma’s founder and then president, Mykola Zlochevsky.

But we wrote about the email back in October 2020, as did others. Their purpose, as Burisma executive Vadym Pozharskyi said in engaging the lobbying firm Blue Star, was to help to shut down any cases/pursuits against Burisma and Zlochevsky.

My only concern is for us to be on the same page re our final goals. With this in mind, I would like us to formulate a list of deliverables, including, but not limited to: a concrete course of actions, incl. meetings/communications resulting in high-ranking US officials in Ukraine (US Ambassador) and in US publicly or in private communication/comment expressing their ‘positive opinion’ and support of Nikolay/Burisma to the highest level of decision makers here in Ukraine President of Ukraine, president Chief of staff, Prosecutor General, etc.

The scope of work should also include organization of a visit of a number of widely recognized and influential current and/or former US policy-makers to Ukraine in November aiming to conduct meetings with and bring positive signal/message and support on Nikolay’s issue to the Ukrainian top officials above with the ultimate purpose to close down for any cases/pursuits against Nikolay in Ukraine.

Notice how he talks about U.S. officials being targeted for this cause not being named, that if it is done to be “cautious,” he understands.

Hunter Biden responded that they should go ahead and sign with Blue Star. Hunter had reportedly connected them with Blue Star, whose CEO had been a deputy chief of staff to Bill Clinton.

As we noted, this was shortly before Joe Biden went to Ukraine and threatened the prosecutor. Just a coincidence. Don’t look at the emails and connect the dots.

The Biden excuse has been that he wanted to fire the prosecutor because he was corrupt and wasn’t pursuing the investigations. But as we noted, if there were no investigations, then what were they engaging Blue Star for? This shows that the excuse is bunk. And there was an investigation going on, as the evidence showed. His office seized property from Zlochevsky, after a raid on his home on Feb. 2, 2016. That was publicly announced in the Kyiv Post on February 4. Just a coincidence, do not connect the dots, but Hunter Biden began following Antony Blinken on Feb. 4. The prosecutor was then canned in March. Shokin has signed an affidavit saying he was investigating Burisma when he was removed.

But there’s another important thing to note here, and it’s important to remember what the NY Post story that was suppressed was about — it was the October 14, 2020 story about the laptop email that revealed the meeting that Vadym Pozharskyi had with Joe Biden. First, the NY Post’s story blew up Joe Biden’s claim that he didn’t talk to his son about his business. But it also opened the door to Pozharskyi and all this information that was potentially very damning to Joe Biden. That’s why the powers that be had to sit on that information.

On top of that, it’s important to note that Blue Star, on behalf of Burisma, had contact with the Obama/Biden administration. Blue Star was reportedly on a conference call the Obama/Biden team held about Biden’s trip to Ukraine at the beginning of December 2015, before Joe Biden went to Ukraine. The Pozharskyi email called for visits of important people, then there was Joe visiting in December. Again, don’t connect the dots; just a coincidence.

The Obama administration let a Democratic p.r. company that worked for Ukrainian energy firm Burisma take part in a conference call about an upcoming visit to Ukraine by then-Vice President Joe Biden, emails obtained by The Post show.

An associate at Blue Star Strategies then emailed a memo with minutes of the conference call hosted by the White House to a top Burisma executive, Vadym Pozharskyi, as well as to Joe Biden’s son Hunter and Hunter’s business partner, Devon Archer, both of whom sat on Burisma’s board.

The trip, in December 2015, turned out to be the one during which Biden later bragged about forcing Ukrainian officials to fire a state prosecutor who was investigating Burisma by threatening to withhold a $1 billion US loan guarantee.

The memo, sent shortly after the Dec. 2, 2015, call, also “outlined the trip’s agenda and addressed several questions regarding US policy toward Ukraine.”

Blue Star has said it began working for Burisma and contacting Ukrainian officials on its behalf in November 2015, and an email shows that on Nov. 18, 2015, Pozharskyi sent the Blue Star contract to Hunter Biden, Archer and Eric Schwerin, president of the Rosemont Seneca Partners investment firm.

Then Blue Star folks were also specifically reaching out to people in the State Department, as we reported back in March 2020.

State Department records show that Painter and her Blue Star co-founder, Karen Tramontano, reached out to top State Department officials through 2016 to set up meetings to discuss Ukraine and Burisma.

Painter sent an email to Tony Blinken who was then a deputy secretary of state in June 2016, asking for a meeting. Blinken is now a foreign policy adviser to Joe Biden’s presidential campaign.

Tramontano also sent an email to the State Department on Feb. 24, 2016, trying to meet over Burisma saying that she wanted to get “a better understanding of how the U.S. came to the determination that [Burisma] is corrupt.” She also dropped Hunter Biden’s name as connected to Burisma.

Blinken is now Secretary of State.

Republicans are now reacting to the Nov. 2, 2015 Pozharskyi email.

“The sequence of events that led to the firing of Viktor Shokin, and the subsequent comments by then-Vice President Biden, raise serious concerns as to what machinations were really at play — and were purposefully concealed from the American people,” Rep. Virginia Foxx, R-N.C., who sits on the House Oversight and Accountability Committee, told Fox News Digital. “No matter how you slice Hunter Biden’s involvement, it screams public corruption at the highest levels and must be fully investigated.”

“The calm, judicious, steady reveal of incredibly condemning evidence that clearly incriminates the Biden crime family will eventually alarm even the most ardent supporters of this WH occupier,” said Rep. Clay Higgins, R-La., also a committee member. “Our President is compromised, he should resign and be forever condemned, and the Democrat Party should begin rebuilding itself.” [….]

“I don’t think Biden had Shokin fired because he was too lax on corruption,” said Rep. Tim Burchett, R-Tenn. “I think Biden had him fired to cover his own tail when it comes to the Biden family’s shady business dealings in Ukraine and because Shokin was looking into Zlochevsky very seriously. It’s not a coincidence that this email came a month before his visit to Kyiv. Our work on the Oversight Committee isn’t finished.”

“Evidence makes it clear that Hunter Biden was only appointed to Burisma’s board of directors because of his last name and family’s network,” said Rep. James Comer, R-Ky., the committee’s chairman. “Additionally, the FBI’s Biden bribery record detailing an alleged extortion and bribery scheme between then-Vice President Biden and a Burisma executive in exchange for certain actions mirrors the purpose of Hunter Biden’s appointment. The Department of Justice has been sitting on a mountain of evidence pointing to the Bidens’ corruption for years but has been engaged in a coverup. We need to root out this politicization and misconduct at the Department of Justice and deliver answers, transparency, and accountability to the American people.” [….]

Sens. Chuck Grassley, R-Iowa, and Josh Hawley, R-Mo., who both sit on the Senate Judiciary Committee, told Fox News Digital that the uncovered emails further point to the Bidens being tied to a foreign bribery scheme.

“There can be no doubt about Burisma’s motives for paying Hunter Biden millions despite his lack of industry expertise, it’s right there in black and white,” Grassley said. “This was always about enlisting the Biden name to influence U.S. policy and public perception of a Ukrainian company mired in corruption investigations. The Justice Department forced Burisma’s lobbying firm to register as foreign agents. Why wasn’t Hunter Biden?”

Oh, and Fox? Your new story wasn’t “First on Fox.” You might want to check your archives. Because here was Tucker Carlson (you know, that guy who used to work for you) breaking down that email around the same time as the NY Post, and we were covering it as well. This was October 2020, just a few weeks before the election. The Republicans need to ingest all this info and take action.
