WH Tries to Use Outrageous Claim About Social Security to Sway Election

We’ve seen the Biden Administration making all kinds of moves before the election to hype their chances to win, not because the moves are necessarily in the best interest of Americans. We saw them essentially trying to bribe their base with a bailout of student loan debt. That didn’t exactly work because it infuriated all the people who thought it illegal, not to mention how unfair it was to everyone else. It has driven more people to the Republicans.

As I reported, the Biden Administration also begged the Saudis to put off OPEC+ production cuts so the effect wouldn’t happen before the election. The Saudis just confirmed that. The Biden team also inserted itself into the union rail strike question and urged them to have a “cooling off period” so if there was a strike, it wouldn’t hit until after the election.

Now there may be another effort underway — with the White House spin about increasing Social Security benefits by 8.7 percent.

The cost-of living adjustment — the largest in more than 40 years — means the average recipient will receive more than $140 extra a month beginning in January, the Social Security Administration said Thursday.

While Social Security recipients welcomed the benefit increase, many said it wasn’t enough to cover the impact of inflation.

It’s” not much help,” said 85-year-old Shirley Parker, who lives in Chatham on Chicago’s South Side,

Home maintenance costs and high grocery prices are cutting steeply into her budget. “Food is ridiculous. I come out with a bag full of groceries — $50 — don’t have about 10 items,” she said.

It’s the largest increase in decades.

“This means that seniors will have a chance to get ahead of inflation, due to the rare combination of rising benefits and falling premiums,” Jean-Pierre said. “We will put more money in their pockets and provide them with a little extra breathing room.”

Now, there is no doubt, that people who are on Social Security could use an increase in benefits because inflation has made it a challenging thing to survive for people on a fixed income.

But the White House wants to take credit for a Social Security cost of living increase? How dare Karine Jean-Pierre claim “We will put more money in their pockets” when they are the ones that helped cause the inflation that is robbing hundreds of dollars out of Americans’ pockets each month? They’re the reason a cost of living increase is needed. As we previously reported, the Biden team has cost the average American $4,200 more per year. So this “increase” isn’t going to make up for all the increases and how much they’ve hurt Americans. The “cost of living adjustment” will be completely eaten up by…the cost of living.

As we reported, the inflation numbers that came in this morning were worse than expected.

People can’t even retire when they planned because of how much the Biden team has screwed up. A quarter of Americans are expecting to delay their retirement due to rising consumer costs, according to a new study. Thanks, Joe Biden.

What’s Joe Biden’s reaction to this all? Complete delusion, denying that we’re in a recession because it might hurt him and the Democrats.

When we have someone in charge who not only lies constantly but can’t accept reality, we have a problem. The White House can’t cover up for that by claiming credit for raising Social Security. This is like Biden emptying the Strategic Petroleum Reserve. When they have to adjust Social Security for Biden inflation and the rise in the cost of living, where is that coming from? The vast monies that we don’t have?

The Biden team just keeps making everything worse and digging a deeper hole.
