Joe Biden was in Los Angeles on Wednesday to tape Jimmy Kimmel’s show and to appear at the Summit of the Americas.

I covered what a mess he was on Jimmy Kimmel’s show and how he despicably whipped up even more anger against SCOTUS and Republicans.

But the Summit of the Americas didn’t go well either. It started badly with him once again tripping up the stairs to Air Force One as he started out on his trip there.

A pro-abortion protester also got much too close to Biden’s motorcade and was taken down by a member of the Secret Service.

The protester kept resisting the officer, knocking off his hat and ripping off his glasses. In response, the agent slapped her, but she continued to resist and struggle against him, screaming, “Get the f— off me!” (another clue that she was on the left). She also yelled, “An abortion ban will not stop abortions — only safe ones.”

Anthony Guglielmi, Chief of Communications for the United States Secret Service, put out a statement after the arrest.

“Shortly after 5:00 pm, an adult female entered a restricted roadway along a motorcade route on Chick Hearn Ct in Los Angeles,” the statement said. “As the woman approached passing vehicles, a United States Secret Service agent swiftly removed her from the roadway and placed her into custody. There was no impact to the motorcade movement or our protectees. Our investigation into this incident is ongoing.”

If you watch the video closely, you can see what appears to be his gun coming loose and falling to the ground. That could have been a disaster, but fortunately, one of the other officers came up and secured it before it became a problem. Particularly given the threat to Justice Brett Kavanaugh, they had to act quickly, not knowing what this woman might do or might have on her. But I would note that the Biden team seems perfectly okay with protesters going to the homes of justices. Just don’t get near an SUV with Biden in it. Both are wrong, but the Biden team only has an issue with one.

People on the left on Twitter were ticked off at the force used, but the woman kept resisting and attacking the agent.

What was notable also was that none of the Los Angeles officers came to help him until he had secured her. Then one handed him cuffs and helped cuff her. Were they afraid in Los Angeles that they might get into difficulty for doing their job?

Biden even got heckled during his remarks. According to reports, the heckling was about climate change.

Meanwhile, the Summit of the Americas is turning out to be a debacle too. It looks like there was poor preparation and not a lot of people showing up for the event, so it looks embarrassing.

Last week, CNN published an article headlined, “Potential for a high-profile flop looms over Biden administration’s prep for next week’s Summit of the Americas.” The network reported that officials were “scrambling” to lock in attendees and come up with things for Biden to announce. “It’s an unusually last-minute attempt to salvage what officials once described as a top-priority event for relations in the United States’ own neighborhood,” CNN said. Why was the Biden administration struggling at the last minute? A White House spokeswoman “shrugged off questions about why details were being nailed down a week before the summit begins,” the article said.

The Biden White House said they wouldn’t let Cuba, Nicaragua, and Venezuela attend because of human rights violations. That’s not necessarily a bad position to take but then they didn’t work it out with any of the other countries. So Mexican President Andres Manuel Lopez Obrador said he was going to boycott, and he was joined by many others including Guatemala, Honduras, and El Salvador. That’s a pretty big snub to Biden.

Meanwhile, Kamala Harris was supposed to be working with those Northern Triangle countries, dealing with the “root causes” of migration. She even announced they were giving them $1.9 billion in aid. But they didn’t even show up to the event in Los Angeles? Yikes. Not to mention. a new huge caravan is on the way to our country. What does it look like when we can’t even get the people we’re giving such a huge amount in aid to show up at the Summit? Not exactly the “great unifier” in any respect.
