Jill Biden Goes to Ukraine but Joe's Actions Tell the Real Story

We’ve seen a lot of world leaders and politicians visit Ukraine now. U.K. Prime Minister Boris Johnson was the first leader at that level to visit, walking with Ukrainian president Volodymyr Zelensky openly down the street. Republicans were the first U.S. officials to visit after the invasion, with Sen. Steve Daines (R-MT) and Rep. Victoria Spartz (R-IN) visiting in the middle of April. About a week ago, even House Speaker Nancy Pelosi (D-CA) and a Congressional delegation made a trip there. Secretary of State Antony Blinken has been there as has Secretary of Defense Lloyd Austin.

Now, even Jill Biden has made a secret trip there. She had been visiting Romania and Slovakia. On Mother’s Day, she went over the border from Slovakia and spent about two hours there including meeting with Zelensky’s wife for about half an hour and visiting a public school in Uzhhorod that is being used as temporary housing and shelter for 163 displaced Ukrainians, including 47 children.

Guess who hasn’t been there yet? You got it: Joe Biden — while he’s funneling all our weapons there and depleting our stocks, with his people not being able to ensure that they’re all going to the places they’re supposed to be going. President Biden has said he would like to go but he is “not allowed.” Who is it that dictates to — allegedly — the most powerful man in the free world?

Those people weren’t dictating to President Donald Trump when he and Melania Trump went into the conflict zone in Iraq in 2018.

Where was Joe Biden while Jill was making the quick trip into Ukraine? He was back on yet his umpteenth visit to Delaware, golfing with his brother.

But they likely figured that best, given how badly he messed up his last visit to the area when he went to Poland and made dangerous gaffes during his remarks. While there, he suggested that American troops might be heading to Ukraine and he also suggested that the U.S. position was regime change against Vladimir Putin. Likely, the Biden team didn’t want to take the chance, sending him again. The White House had to clean up after those comments, saying no, American troops would not be sent to Ukraine and no, they weren’t advocating for regime change.

I don’t think it’s a question of safety if they’re willing to send Jill and everyone else including Pelosi. That’s a sad commentary on where things are with Joe Biden.
