Americans’ opinions of Biden have taken a precipitous nosedive such that now, his approval is under 40 percent in the most recent polling. A truly dismal, historically bad level. Opinion of how Biden has handled the pandemic has dropped well as the pandemic has continued.
So now they’re trying to recover by teasing a new “plan.”
Yesterday, White House Press Secretary Jen Psaki spoke about the new effort to deal with COVID cases.
Tomorrow, Biden will announce a six-pronged plan to get COVID under control.

“There are six steps the president’s announcing, there will be new components,” Psaki said. “Some of that will be related to access to testing, some will be related to mandates, some will be related to how we ensure kids will be protected in schools.” [….]
“There will be new components that sure, will of course impact people across the country, but we’re also all working together to get the virus under control, to return to our normal lives,” she added. [….]
When asked if the new steps will affect Americans’ lives, Psaki said, “it depends on if you’re vaccinated or not.”
That sounded ominous, said even with a little smirk.
Now, some of the details of the “plan” are in. Remember that Biden claimed he had a “plan” during the campaign that was supposed to “stop” the virus? Then he got in and it was clear he didn’t have anything. Instead, even with the vaccine, it’s still here, yet he wants more dictates. It sounds like he wants to be the dictator the left was always trying to claim, falsely, that President Donald Trump was.

It mostly sounds like a lot of nonsense to sound like they’re doing something, except for the vaccine mandates where they are actually requiring people to get vaccinated to be able to work.
Biden is now going to require that every federal worker be vaccinated. He’s also going to impose it on contractors who do business with the federal government, which includes a ton of private businesses, as well as encouraging private businesses to require it, according to CNN.
Among the steps the President will take is signing an executive order requiring all federal workers be vaccinated against Covid-19, with no option of being regularly tested to opt out of the requirement, according to a source familiar with the plans.
The President will also sign an executive order directing the same standard be extended to employees of contractors who do business with the federal government. The Department of Defense, the Department of Veterans Affairs, Indian Health Service and National Institutes of Health will also complete their previously announced vaccination requirements, which the White House estimates covers 2.5 million workers.
They are going to do everything they can to demonize the unvaccinated and publicly pressure private businesses to have employees vaccinated.
Meanwhile, if he thinks this is going to help his approval, this is only going to tank the economy more and his approval as a result. I hope he likes approval ratings in the 20s.
