The Democrats were missing in action for hours Thursday after the suicide bombing attacks in Kabul. First we heard from the Pentagon, then Joe Biden finally spoke after going MIA for hours.

President Donald Trump issued a statement earlier. Even Melania Trump has spoken.

So what did House Speaker Nancy Pelosi (D-CA) say when she finally spoke today after the attacks?

She spoke of an attack. But it wasn’t the attack on our service members in Kabul. She spoke of the fake propaganda point about “voter suppression” and the “attack on the right to vote.”

Unbelievable. She gives a master class in showing that one doesn’t really care. Can we talk about the horrible optics of laughing and joking on the U.S. military’s deadliest day in a decade? Now, normally what a leader who actually cared would have done is say:

“There’s some very hard news today and we should all take a moment to remember those members of the U.S. military whose lives were taken today, to honor their memory and their sacrifice.”

It’s now been upped to 12 Marines and one Navy corpsman, so 13 rather than 12. Instead, Pelosi completely ignored the attack and the deaths. Instead, she concentrated on a lie about voter suppression and the Democratic agenda to push their bill to nationalize and control elections.

She even refused to take questions when asked about Afghanistan, so it was clear that she knew of what had happened. As we reported earlier, her tweets earlier were about “women’s equality.” She only released a statement after criticism about her failure to say anything, writing:

“The United States House of Representatives strongly condemns the heinous terrorist attack outside Kabul airport. We mourn the loss of every innocent life taken, and we join every American in heartbreak over the deaths of the servicemembers killed.”

But if she actually cared about the military being killed, where was it in the speech? If she cared about women’s equality, perhaps she should care about the millions of women in Afghanistan who just lost their equality because of the shameful actions of the man Pelosi supports, Joe Biden?

She should have called off her speech or at least included something. Instead, she ignored it in her remarks and refused questions. What she should be doing is holding Joe Biden to account and asking what he was doing to prevent this from happening again, rather than spending all day pushing Democratic agenda items. This says it all about Democrats.
