There has been a lot of concern over Joe Biden waiving sanctions on the corporate entity and CEO overseeing the construction of Russia’s Nord Stream 2 pipeline into Germany.
I wrote about it earlier, asking who’s really Vladimir Putin’s puppet and what kind of kompromat did they have on Biden?
We’ve been fighting against the completion of Nord Stream 2 in a bipartisan way for years. Why? Because we were trying to prevent Russia from getting a foothold over the EU, by control of their energy supply through that pipeline.
What Biden did was completely cave, basically ensuring that Russia gets a foothold. It’s madness when we’re spending a ton on NATO to protect the front door from Russia and Biden just says, “Here, come on in, through the back door.”
Meanwhile, Biden is essentially empowering the Russians. Those same folks who Democrats have accused, for the last four years, of trying to interfere in our elections. Biden is helping their energy ambitions while injuring our own, by cutting the Keystone XL Pipeline and killing thousands of jobs. He showed that those accusations were all about politics and finding an excuse to attack President Donald Trump, as he was completely ready to roll over for Russia.
Fox’s Peter Doocy asked White House Jen Psaki if she could explain Biden’s actions since Biden said that he was cutting the Keystone XL Pipeline in the interests of climate change, yet he’s apparently cool with waiving sanctions that would impact Nord Stream? Why is he approving it to help Russia while cutting our pipeline and hurting our energy interests?
When told that there’s concern around Biden killing the Keystone XL pipeline along with thousands of American jobs but allowing Russian pipeline Nord Stream 2, Biden's Press Secretary Jen Psaki smirks and asks "is there?” pic.twitter.com/9LxjvaaMRr

Psaki’s response was horrible. First, she smirked and gave a smart-aleck answer, “Is there?” to Doocy saying there was concern. Then, basically, she punted, suggesting waiving the sanctions didn’t mean anything because “95 percent of this pipeline was built” by the time Biden got in. This didn’t match what even she had said in February, when she called Nord Stream 2 a “bad deal” and said it “divides Europe, it exposes Ukraine and Central Europe to Russia — Russian manipulation, and because it goes against Europe’s own stated energy and security goals.”
But Sen. Ted Cruz finished off Psaki’s smart-aleck response with a couple of tweets.
Yes. Yes, there is. https://t.co/zcUFORibDg

Then Cruz asked that question we had previously raised.
What does Putin have on Biden? https://t.co/aJVV0hseYl
