Democrats have been spreading lies about the new Georgia election law and companies are being pushed into signing aboard the lies.
Those lies, led by Joe Biden himself, have prompted Major League Baseball to pull the All-Star Game from Georgia and have precipitated pandering and false statements from companies like Coca-Cola, Delta Airlines, and United Airlines.
But Texas Governor Greg Abbott is showing how red states need to band together against this assault on truth and with companies like MLB taking such false partisan stands.
Abbott announced today that he would be no longer be throwing out the first pitch at the Texas Rangers’ home opener because of the MLB’s actions on Georgia.
I was looking forward to throwing out the first pitch at the Texas Rangers' home opening game until @MLB adopted what has turned out to be a false narrative about Georgia's election law reforms.

He said he had been looking forward to it, “It is shameful that America’s pastime is not only being influenced by partisan political politics, but also perpetuating false political narratives.” Abbott said he “will not participate in an event held by MLB, and the state will not seek to host the All-Star Game or any other MLB special events.”
Abbott said his problem wasn’t with the Rangers, that this doesn’t “diminish the deep respect I have for the Texas Rangers baseball organization.” He said he wished them great success.
Of course, it’s not just Abbott standing for Georgia, the Democrats are aiming at Texas as well for daring to have their own election security bills.
Now, that’s exactly the right take and it’s what every red state should be doing on these issues, banding together and standing up for one another against this false narrative onslaught that has at the end of it the real goal, Democratic control. The backlash is building and the MLB and other companies are finding that signing aboard with Democrats’ false narratives and folly isn’t going to end very well for them.
Sen. Ted Cruz (R-TX) and other lawmakers are leading an effort to repeal the MLB’s special exemption from federal antitrust law. President Donald Trump called for a boycott of the MLB and other businesses that he said were afraid of the Democrats and going along with this.
People need to keep calling out Joe Biden for his lies on this, because he’s the one who prompted the MLB pullout despite the fact that even the WaPo called him out repeatedly for his lies. As we reported today, the White House is now trying to wiggle out of blame for all this. But it’s just one more thing that Biden has completely screwed up.
