There’s no doubt that there are some folks in the Republican Party who are clueless about where we’re at in this point in history.
They’re more concentrated on attacking President Donald Trump and making nice with the Democrats as they grab more and more control and impose radical norms across the board. They don’t get now is the time stand in that breach and prevent that and that that’s what Trump was doing.
Some like Rep. Liz Cheney (R-WY) just seem to keep digging themselves a bigger hole.
Reporters asked House GOP Leader Kevin McCarthy (R-CA) if they thought that Trump should be speaking at the Conservative Political Action Conference (CPAC) this Sunday. McCarthy looked at them as though the answer was obvious and said, “Yes, he should.” The reporters then asked Cheney, the House GOP Conference Chair, who was behind him and who voted to impeach Trump, what she thought.
REPORTER: “Do you believe former President Trump should speaking at CPAC?”
CHENEY: "That's up to CPAC….I don't believe that he should be playing a role in the future of the party or the country."
MCCARTHY: "On that high note, thank you very much."pic.twitter.com/WcuMd0wAHG

“That’s up to CPAC … I don’t believe that he should be playing a role in the future of the party or the country,” Cheney said.
At which point McCarthy said, “On that high note, thank you!”
She’s right, it is up to CPAC and they’re having him speak which the overwhelming majority of folks who will be there want. That’s who they want. It isn’t up to Cheney. And how stupid do you have to be to be this divisive at a point when everyone should be uniting against Biden and the Democrats? But right now if you asked who most of the party thinks should play no future role in the party, most would probably say Cheney, given how divisive she’s being. We wrote earlier about some of the divisive stands she’s been taking. It isn’t only Trump that she’s targeting, it’s the GOP and placing American first as well, while being the third in power in the GOP in the House.

Some Republicans like Cheney and Romney always want to hang their own to make Democrats happy. What they still don’t get is that you’ll do that, and it still wouldn’t make the Democrats happy and they will turn around in the next moment and hang you too. Recall how evil Romney was to cancer patients and dogs, oh and racist too, according to Democrats. But Romney has a short memory, the rest of us don’t. All Democrats care about is getting that power, they don’t care about unity and they regard folks like Cheney and Romney as “useful idiots” who they can use to help get them there. When they no longer need them, they are dispensed with too.
Donald Trump, Jr. was not at all quiet about making that point to Cheney.
Liz Cheney knows she can't get reelected in Wyoming because the people there hate her, so she's trying hard to make sure her new friends at CNN will hire her once she loses her primary. #LincolnProjectLiz is less popular with Republicans than Andrew Cuomo is at nursing homes!!! https://t.co/IBZkim3YgI

It shouldn’t surprise anyone that Liz Cheney was anti-Trump… Friendly fire runs in the family!
