Biden Gets Confused About Numbers Again When It Comes to Vaccine Doses and Americans

There is no question that Joe Biden demonstrated a ton of confusion on the campaign trail.

He got into frequent trouble trying to read his teleprompter, but then was even worse when he temporized away from the teleprompter, sometimes coming up with horrible gaffes or offensive comments like telling Charlamagne tha God that “you ain’t black” if you hadn’t figured out to vote for him yet, then blaming Charlamagne for tricking him somehow into making those remarks.

As my colleague Sister Toldjah wrote, while President Donald Trump usually called on reporters during a briefing, Biden has staff carefully pick and choose who to call on for him in his first briefing, raising the question of why couldn’t the call on people himself.

But he really seems to have a problem with numbers. He’s often made fantastic claims including saying during a debate that 150 million Americans had been killed with guns since 2007, that a child tax credit would put “720 million women” back in the workforce and saying 200 million people had died from the Wuhan coronavirus. All these claims are obviously illogical and make no sense. Or one is reading something erroneously from a teleprompter and really doesn’t know what he’s saying.

Today, he seemed to lose steam in the middle of talking about securing additional vaccines to deal with the Wuhan coronavirus. Then his numbers began to go crazy.

First, he claimed that “We’ll soon be able to confirm the purchase of an additional 100 billion doses.” Wait, what? How many was that? 100 billion? Exactly how many people do we have and how many doses do we have to buy and provide?
He later says “100 million doses,” not seeming to understand he just said “billion.” He then continues, to say that they’ve secured an additional 200 million doses which then should be able to provide vaccinations for 300 Americans. Yes, and he said it twice, 300 Americans. He then corrects it to 300 million.

That’s going to be a pretty tough call. Which 300 Americans get the 100 billion doses and boy, are they going to be pin cushions with all those doses! Guessing that might be a bit too many doses for them to take, just saying.

The problem isn’t that occasionally people misspeak. The problem is that it’s a frequent issue that begs the greater question: does he understand what he’s saying?
