Last night, Twitter tried to stir things up with a tweet about a man being shot in Minnepolis by the police.
Twitter has this as their lead story. What they don’t mention is that the guy shot at police first. pic.twitter.com/XOPS9Ti5jg

But of course they left out the critical information that the man shot at the police first.
The body cam shows they gave him every chance. Told him to put his hands up, he still rammed the police cars and tried to pull away. They tried to block off his car. Told him again, “Hands up.” Then he clearly fired on them. Pretty much no other options.
Here's the Minneapolis bodycam footage from the police officers who fatally shot a felony suspect who, to no one's surprised, fired first. pic.twitter.com/BCHeF6Mylu

You can tell the guy with the body cam really didn’t want to fire but ended up having to do so, to protect himself and his brethren officers.
So what was the response of Rep. Ilhan Omar (D-MN) who represents that area? Was it to come to support the police officers placed in an untenable position? Of course not. She accused them of “state sanctioned murder,” and she lied about the actual facts, seemingly trying to stoke the outrage machine.
MPD is a joke, this isn’t transparency or accountability.
A man was killed, his family terrorized & robbed of a son and all they are left w/ is more questions than answers.
Let’s stop normalizing + justifying state sanctioned murder by those who take an oath to uphold the law. https://t.co/PPYcYvCa6i

How about let’s stop leftists lying and trying to cause riots? What about honestly admitting in virtually every police shooting either the police were attacked, fired upon or legitimately endangered? This kind of lie is endangering the police in addition to the city. But it serves the progressive purpose of antagonizing. It isn’t about the reality. That’s why the facts in these cases never really matter to the left and why they’re constantly distorting them or out and out lying about them. All that matters is the narrative that the cops (and the state) are even and need to be eliminated.
If shooting at the police does not justify the use of force, what does?

He was killed because he fired a gun at police officers.
Police were on the scene because he was ramming cars with his truck.

How hard is it to condemn someone who shoots at a cop?
This hard👇 https://t.co/oSWZi7zOsK

He shot at cops. What exactly is the progressive solution here for the officer? Take the bullet? Honestly asking. https://t.co/xQDWiQn8Ri

Yes. That’s really what they want. It’s all about driving the country further left.
