Captain America was trending on Twitter today.
But it wasn’t because a new Marvel movie was coming out.
It was because folks on the left were mocking an assault on a cop in Minneapolis during rioting.
Minneapolis had rioting again this week because of the lie that a black man who committed suicide was killed by the police.
That of course didn’t make any sense. But as I said earlier in my story about the BLM surrounding and threatening Sen. Rand Paul (R-KY), none of this has anything to do with facts or justice, it’s all about sowing as much chaos as possible to push the country further left.
There was widespread looting and vandalism on Wednesday, but the video of what happened to the cop didn’t go viral until Thursday.
It showed the officer being struck in the head with a heavy trash can lid and being knocked to the ground, obviously injured.
What added to the sickening nature of the attack was that you could hear the rioters on the video cheering the attack, as the cop lay prostrate on the ground, calling for help.
The man who took the video quickly yelled, “not me” as the cops flooded the scene to get the rioter who threw the lid.
The officer was taken to the hospital with non-life threatening injuries.
Some of the leftists on Twitter who saw the video then mocked the officer and praised “Captain America,” comparing the lid to Captain America’s shield.
"Captain America" is now trending because someone put a police officer in Minneapolis in the hospital — and the virtually all of the tweets are celebrating this act of evil. https://t.co/PohuOzQA0c

Actually, Captain America would be in the streets trying to stop the evil people who commit such acts and he’d have a few things to say to the people cheering such a vile attack.
Fortunately they deployed the National Guard, Mayor Jacob Frey didn’t want to go through anymore of this than they’d already had to deal with already.
