There’s no question that Democrats had a tough time putting together a virtual convention.

It lacked all kinds interest and enthusiasm, that translated to a big drop in viewership.

But there’s been so much discussion about Joe Biden’s issues, if he were just able to stay on his feet, the Democrats were going to do everything they could to praise it and say, see, he doesn’t really have issues.

They tried to set the table by talking about his stutter before hand, an issue that never came up before his very apparent cognitive issues over the last couple of years.

While his speech wasn’t particularly inspiring, as we reported, he was basically able to read from a teleprompter. He didn’t lay out any actual policy agendas, just a lot of platitudes. In other words, a typical Democratic speech that said nothing. The only thing concrete he mentioned was a national mask mandate which is both questionable legally and shows his lack of understanding of the power of the presidency. He learned at the knee of Mr. Pen and Phone, so he thinks he can just decree things by fiat.

But that’s all Democrats and media needed to praise the speech.

But unfortunately CNN’s Van Jones who sometimes has an uncomfortable habit (for Democrats) of letting the truth out of the bag, admitted that they were going to praise the speech no matter how it came out.

Boy, isn’t that a clear window into how the media operates. Everyone knows it’s true, they just don’t expect people to admit it, so good on Van Jones for putting that out there. It just left everyone speechless and the look on Anderson Cooper’s face was something else.

Biden managed to hold it together for the speech. Now he’s going to go back into the basement until they can figure out how to help him with a teleprompter during the debates. Watch the request for a virtual debate to come as they hope to pull him across the line.
