I’m guessing that someone in authority is looking into the PNW Youth Liberation Front that has helped organize some of the “direct actions” that have taken place in Portland and against the police.
They describe themselves as a “decentralized network of autonomous youth collectives dedicated to direct action towards total liberation.”
PNW advertised to gather at Laurelhurst Park
Tonight: Laurelhurst Park!
Friday, August 7th
Direct Action March
Meet: 8 PM • Move: 9 PM
No cops. No prisons. Total abolition.

They even had “shield practice” beforehand, practicing how to battle with the cops later in the evening.
Portland protesters practiced this shield wall formation in the park before the protest began. Then later at night, when riot police attacked with batons, they formed up and repelled the attack.
The cops were forced to retreat.

Except it didn’t quite go down as they claimed and they didn’t actually repel the police.
A few hundred people gathered at the park and then marched on the Penumbra Kelly Building in southeast Portland. The building is shared by both the Portland Police and the Multnomah County Sheriff’s Office and has been the focus of other actions in the past.
This was the result:
Overnight on 7–8 Aug., hundreds of #antifa again attacked the Penumbra Kelly police building in SE Portland. They blinded officers w/lasers & threw rocks & explosives at them. They lined the street w/nails & brawled w/cops using shields & body armor. https://t.co/xOy30vA8s0 pic.twitter.com/HxfzCnf30o

Sure doesn’t look like they fended the cops off with their brilliantly practiced tactics, does it?
The police basically moved right over them and started pushing them out of the area as they fled like rats trying to hide.

Because it was a residential neighborhood, they tried hiding on the properties in the area to escape the cops.
Imagine you’re this resident, suddenly your property has a ton of black-hooded Antifa swarming all over your deck in the middle of the night. But he was having none of it, telling them to get the heck out.
As police dispersed antifa rioters in SE Portland, they ran onto people’s property to hide from cops. One home owner goes out and tells them to get out. #PortlandRiots #antifa pic.twitter.com/qMi4KyGGYi

More residents telling them to take their sorry cabooses home.

So the radicals weren’t left with much but to spin their “stand” the next morning.
Good for the residents for once again standing up.
But they shouldn’t have to, this crazy should never be happening to them anyway.
So what’s the ultimate plan to get all these terrorists off the street and not just repeating this every might? Do the residents have to stand in the streets and literally block these people? Or are the politicians actually going to do anything because it sure doesn’t sound like it. The police made a slew of arrests last night, but can we get them locked up on some serious charges already?
