Remember that CNN’s Chris Cuomo and Don Lemon tried to defend Antifa? Cuomo even compared them to World War II soldiers landing in France on D-Day.

They may have had a little change of heart when the rioters showed up at CNN headquarters in Atlanta on Friday and tried to smash their way in. But not much, they were still calling them “protesters” and trying to spin it.

They did this same thing that some in liberal media do: ‘Their name is Antifa so they must be anti-fascists and that’s good.”

Once upon a time, the media knew to just call them anarchists and Communists and did not give them that cover of being “anti-fascists.” They’ve been rioting and trying to make the revolution happen for decades. And it’s not about George Floyd. It isn’t even about Trump. It wasn’t about banks when they were Occupy either. It is always and only about how they can bring the system down, using whatever hook they have.

That’s why they attacked the symbols of America, as well, over the weekend.

Rioters vandalized several monuments and historic memorials, including the Lincoln Memorial site, the World War II Memorial, and the statue of General Casimir Pulaski.

“In the wake of last night’s demonstrations, there are numerous instances of vandalism to sites around the National Mall. For generations the Mall has been our nation’s premier civic gathering space for non-violent demonstrations, and we ask individuals to carry on that tradition.”

Unfortunately, while there are protesters who may honestly want change, meaning improvement and no police brutality, Antifa isn’t about “carrying on that tradition” but bringing it all down.

How is vandalizing a WWII memorial that honors veterans (including black veterans) who fought fascism, “antifascist?” Vandalizing the Lincoln Memorial? Seriously? Of all the things one shouldn’t vandalize if one thinks “black lives matter.”

Meanwhile, a lot of Secret Service agents were injured during protests near the White House over the weekend and a famous church, St. John’s, set ablaze. Fortunately, it survived.

The Mayor has activated the D.C. National Guard to help the local police.
