How old is Joe Biden?

Joseph Robinette Biden was born November 20, 1942, which makes him seventy-seven years old.

I don’t know what you think, but it sure seems like he’s older than that.

Maybe he thinks so, too, if his latest gaffe is any measure.

He was doing an interview with Alphonso David who is the president of the Human Rights Campaign. Biden was speaking about how he spent his life campaigning for Democratic candidates. In 1918.

“In 1918, excuse me, 2018, I campaigned for, over in 24 states, for over 65 candidates,” Biden explained to David.

Was he campaigning for Woodrow Wilson?

This, of course, is just the latest gaffe in a boatload of gaffes.

Was he thinking about the Spanish Flu of 1918?

No, because that happened in “17,” no 16,” according to Biden last month:

Everyone may have a slip of the tongue. The problem is this isn’t a slip of the tongue, but a continual, significant problem. Democrats don’t seem to give a darn that there’s a big problem beyond in addition to the creepy groper liar thing, they seem set on continuing to throw him out there, embarrassing himself from his basement.

What are they going to do once they get to actual debates with President Donald Trump? Yes, they will do their best to spin whatever Biden does, but that may be hard to defend in a live broadcast debate (assuming we get to that and they don’t argue their way out of it to protect Biden).
