Whoever said that Joe Biden was a moderate?
His radical ideas are as much of a danger as his incoherency and his constant lies.
He has the nomination likely locked up at this point, so he doesn’t have to pitch further left to win in the primary. Which pretty much means this is what he really thinks.
Biden said he would stop oil drilling, ban new fracking, have no new coal plants – all of which would kill thousands of jobs.

From Free Beacon:
“No more subsidies for the fossil fuel industry,” he said at the CNN debate. “No more drilling on federal lands. No more drilling, including offshore. No ability for the oil industry to continue to drill, period. Ends.”
Biden hasn’t called for an all-out ban on oil drilling before, which would have a radical, negative effect on the U.S. energy industry. [….]
Biden, confronted by Sanders for not taking dramatic enough steps to combat climate change, also said there would be no “new fracking” and “not another coal plant will be built” under his administration.
Biden also seemed to channel Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez (D-NY), claiming he wanted high-speed rail and promised to “take millions of cars off the road.”
President Trump: "If you like automobiles, how can you vote for a Democrat who all want to get rid of cars"?
Media: That's false!

Biden has already admitted in December that he would be willing to sacrifice hundreds of thousands of jobs on the way to a green economy, according to the Washington Examiner.
If people were paying attention last night, that should end him in oil and coal states.
President Donald Trump, by contrast, has reenergized the industry and helped toward making us more energy independent. The contrast couldn’t be sharper.
