Wuhan coronavirus seems to be amplifying the worst parts of people.
Take our friend, Never Trump WaPo fake conservative Jennifer Rubin. Please.
According to Jen, more Republicans than Democrats are going to die from the violence because Fox News and right-wing media are “downplaying the threat.”
Rubin appeared on MSNBC and claimed Republican older viewers were more at risk and that Democrats had immediately addressed the issue, cancelling rallies.

Which party immediately started having their political figures really portray and use their lies as an example? It was the Democrats.
So, I hate to put it this way, but there will be less Democrat deaths because there will be less mass gatherings, there will be less opportunities for people to congregate and share this horrible disease. So it is really a very short-sighted strategy.
But, I think now the name of the game is how do they get back on Planet Earth. And part of the way that I think that they are doing it is down the memory hole. He jumped right on this right away because of all this planning that we’re doing so well, which is head-spinning for the rest of us who watched him for weeks say this was a hoax. But this is how they do it at Fox News. Suddenly, he’s been the most pro-active president… The toughest on it.
First, not to be a grammar nazi, but it’s “fewer,” not less. Don’t pretend to be a “conservative” writer if you can’t write. If it’s countable, it’s “fewer.”
But, once again, what we see here is a complete rewriting of history to serve the narrative being pushed, still pushing the lie that President Donald Trump called the virus a hoax, now weeks after that claim has been debunked.
Republicans have been addressing it in reality while Democrats have been lying their heads off about the Trump response, not caring who they hurt in the process.
While Trump began addressing it in January, Democrats were concentrated on impeachment and calling travel restrictions from China “xenophobic” when the restrictions likely saved lives. Democrats have spent the time lying about the Trump response to the problem such as by falsely claiming Trump cut the CDC and muzzled scientists, politicizing and hyping panic. Biden still doesn’t think travel restrictions are good. Democrats were still lying about the response and politicizing during the debate last night.
Apparently, while criticizing Trump’s response, Joe Biden thinks so much of it that he’s plagiarized it as his “plan” to respond to the virus, as my colleague Streiff reported.
Reality now? The people not practicing good virus hygiene who have been hanging out at bars, restaurants in New York, D.C. and other cities are probably largely not Republicans.
But viruses don’t respect party affiliation so this is just vile.
