Earlier today we reported that President Donald Trump had gotten tested for the Wuhan coronavirus after being exposed to a couple of people who had tested positive for the illness.

Trump said earlier today he was waiting on the results.

The results are now in and they are negative according to his doctor, Sean Conley.

The doctor references the Brazilian delegation noting that Trump had interacted with them more than a week ago. The two people he was exposed to who later tested positive were part of that delegation.

From Washington Examiner:

“One week after having dinner with the Brazilian delegation in Mar-a-Lago, the President remains symptom-free. I have been in daily contact with the CDC and White House Coronavirus Task Force, and we are encouraging the supplementation of all their best practices for exposure reduction and transmission mitigation,” Conley wrote in his memo Saturday.

During the White House Coronavirus Task Force news briefing Saturday afternoon, Pence said he also got tested. The results of his test have not been released.

That’s pretty great news.

So are folks on the left and the media (redundant I know) happy that he tested negative after spreading nonsense about it? What do you think?

Reminder: This was the same WH doctor who last night said President Trump didn’t need a test for the coronavirus. Now, a day later, the doctor says he tested Trump for the virus and he’s negative.

The doctor sent out a letter yesterday Trump didn’t need a test but later gave him one to reassure people. That’s not inconsistent except in the mind of folks suffering from too much anti-Trump narrative. He does what they say they want and they’re still not happy.
