One of the worst things about the Wuhan virus hasn’t been the virus itself.

It’s been the effort by those on the left, media, and the anti-Trump folks to seize upon it almost with glee as a way to bash President Donald Trump. Not just because that’s wrong, but because it’s harmful to ordinary Americans who have been hurt by the panic.

But the anti-Trump folks don’t care about that, because as always, the ultimate goal is about getting Trump. If Americans get hurt, oh well, too bad. They deserve it.

They usually don’t say it out loud even if they are thinking it and suggesting it.

But Never Trump pundit Rick Wilson just said the quiet part out loud: yes, all you Trump supporters, he wants you to pay a “terrible price” and you “deserve it” in the context of a discussion about the virus.

I don’t know the day of reckoning, but I suspect the people who sank into their fear of Trump, who defended every outrage, who put him before what they knew was right, and pretended this chaos and corruption was a glorious new age will pay a terrible price.

They deserve it.

This is “principled conservatism” apparently, wishing ill on people and hoping they pay a “terrible price” because they have a different political opinion and don’t suffer from the same TDS delusions as he does.

Christ Rick. We are all paying a price. My 80 yo dad lost $125,000 yesterday alone. He’s losing hope. I think my mom and dad are too tired for another financial crisis and more job losses for their 50 yo kids.

Hold onto the stocks and wait for the panic to pass, and they will come back up as they are already. Meanwhile, thank Democrats for doing all they can to contribute to stoking panic.

But Rick doesn’t care, he just indicated that unfortunately.

What’s really crazy about people with pathologies like Rick’s is that he’s so concentrated, he thinks, on getting rid of Trump.

Yet, he’s completely obsessed with him, he spends every moment tweeting about him. Rick keeps Trump constantly present in his own mind. He’s defined himself completely by Trump, Trump is renting out space in his head.

It’s a bad as any cult member.
