This Is What Never Trump Is Now Reduced To, Calling Trump 'Fat'

We’ve been checking in on the Democrats and Never Trump folks melting down over the realization that their likely choices in the general election will be Sen. Bernie Sanders (I-VT) the socialist and President Donald Trump the guy they don’t want.

Bill Kristol and Jen Rubin are still in the shock and denial stage.

Former Republican candidate Joe Walsh, who dropped out after the Iowa caucus, says he will vote for Sanders if he’s the nominee. Not exactly “principled conservative.”

Another “principled conservative,” Tom Nichols is also saying he would vote for Sanders in the general election if it came to that, although he says he’d vote in the primary for someone else to stop him. But he acknowledges this all means that Trump is winning.

All of them have completely earned the angst they’re going through if they would really consider voting for Sanders.

But at least they’re looking at a real likely choice.

Never Trump political commentator David Frum appears to be completely throwing his hands in the air and hoping insulting Trump is the way to take him down.

Here he is on CNN on Sunday, reduced to calling Trump “fat.”

“One of the things Donald Trump tried to spread in 2016 was the idea that Hillary Clinton was somehow physically incapable of managing the presidency. I mean, it’s like audacious. Donald Trump was the oldest president ever, one of the fattest presidents ever, the least physically capable president since Franklin Delano Roosevelt was in a wheelchair. I mean, he can’t pick up a ball, never mind throw it. But he was able to put into the minds of tens of millions of people the idea that Hillary Clinton who’s a very vigorous woman in good health, was somehow too sick to be president.”

How you know that Trump is going to win? This is what Never Trump is reduced to, rewriting history and calling Trump fat.

You only think that Hillary Clinton wasn’t a “very vigorous woman in good health” because Trump put that in your mind. Never mind that she was breaking bones, slipping down stairs, not able to stop coughing and passing out at 9/11 ceremonies. Trump obviously made all those things up, he wasn’t just commenting on facts.

I’m a bit confused if Trump is so physically incapable, how he’s able to play golf which anti-Trump folks are always complaining about? You do actually have to literally bend over to pick up your ball and swing a club. Actually most people don’t think of Trump as his age because he gives off a younger impression and is actually vigorous, unlike Hillary Clinton.

Meanwhile I thought fat shaming was bad? Where are the people on the panel to call him out on that? Or to push back on any of his rewriting of history because of TDS? “Reliable Sources.”

But this is what Frum is reduced to now. His remarks don’t really say anything about Trump, but they do say a lot about him.

This is the 10 year old boy’s response when you lose, the equivalent of “your mama” or “neener neener.”

So here’s a song, just for Frum.
