During the House impeachment proceedings on Wednesday, Harvard Law professor Noah Feldman hilariously suggested that not cooperating with Democratic impeachment requests was somehow “obstruction.”
Noah Feldman: "I don't think it's possible to emphasize this strongly enough: a president who will not cooperate in an impeachment inquiry is putting himself above the law."
"Putting yourself above the law as president is the core of an impeachable offense." pic.twitter.com/fcTfo8ngIB

It’s a silly claim we also saw here from Rep. Pramila Jayapal (D-WA).

As George Washington University constitutional law professor Jonathan Turley noted on Wednesday, that’s just insane.
Jonathan Turley on "obstruction": "If you impeach a president — if you make a high crime and misdemeanor out of going to the courts — it IS an abuse of power. It's YOUR abuse of power. You are doing precisely what you're criticizing the president for doing." #impeachmenthearing

But apparently President Donald Trump isn’t entitled to avail himself of any constitutional protections as the Democrats witch hunt to find some impeachable offense.
But if they think that, then surely they must believe that former Vice President Joe Biden saying he would refuse to testify is obstruction, right? Paging Noah Feldman to the courtesy desk: sounds like Biden isn’t cooperating.
Fox News’s Peter Doocy dared to ask Biden on the campaign trail what he would do if he was called would he testify:
.@JoeBiden tells @pdoocy he will not appear voluntarily if called as a witness in Senate impeachment trial, “No I’m not going to let them take their eye off the ball. The President is the one who has committed impeachable crimes and I’m not going to let him divert from that.” pic.twitter.com/HfGsHmad29

From The Blaze:
“If there’s a Senate impeachment trial, they might want to call you as a witness is that something where you would appear voluntarily?” asked Doocy.
“No I’m not going to let them take their eye off the ball,” responded Biden.
“The president is the one who has committed impeachable crimes and I’m not going to let him divert from that. I’m not gonna let anybody divert from that,” he added.
So Biden thinks that Trump should comply with any request of the Democrats, but he doesn’t have to?
What is he afraid of? That’s how this works, right? Democratic rules.
A little reaction:
so Biden thinks Trump should agree with everything the Dems want or it’s obstruction of justice, but it’s not if he doesn’t want to.

Biden is using the Impeachment process for personal political gain.

He has no choice. If the Senate calls him, he must appear and take the 5th if he wants but he has no present executive privilege to even challenge a subpoena.
