During former Ambassador Marie Yovanovitch’s testimony, one of the people she said was mean to her was President Donald Trump.
But she also complained about stories by The Hill’s John Solomon, who has broken a lot of consequential stories about the Ukraine situation, some of which have not made the Democrats very happy.
Yovanovitch claimed the stories provoked false claims against her and made her look bad.
Gee, and you wonder why Trump might fire an ambassador who can’t seem to be able to deal with differences in policy or stories that might include her name?
House Intelligence Committee Chair Adam Schiff’s staff highlighted her complaints during the hearing.
And now it’s being reported that The Hill is vowing to “review” his columns.

How troubling is this?
Are they going to double-check with Schiff before they allow him to publish anything that might be critical now?
The Hill, while liberal, was one of the few media organs that allowed other voices through that weren’t completely monolithic in what they were willing to cover like Solomon and like Sharyl Attkisson. Is this an indication that now those voices will be silenced?
Solomon seemed to say “bring it on” in response to the news.
I welcome The Hill’s review of my Ukraine columns and suggested it myself a month ago. I believe it won’t be hard for The Hill to review these since all my source documents and original interviews are linked for all to see. Plus witnesses have affirmed much of what I wrote.

He’s also now a contributor at Fox News, so even if The Hill shuts him down, he may not be without ability to put his stories out there. But still, extremely concerning.
