People are not feeling particularly satisfied with the official ruling of Jeffrey Epstein’s death as a suicide, particularly in the wake of the remarks of Dr. Michael Baden, the famous forensic pathologist and former chief medical examiner for New York City, who said that the injuries were more consistent with a homicide than a suicide.

That dissatisfaction has spread beyond social media to the real world with the meme “Epstein didn’t kill himself” being spread everywhere, from a former Navy Seal surprisingly saying it on Watters World during an interview about military dogs to “Epstein Cover-Up” being paged at the airport.

Even ABC anchor Amy Robach was saying it on the hot mic video on which she said she had “everything” on Epstein three years ago but ABC wouldn’t run with the story.

But behind that dissatisfaction are some serious questions.

And what Epstein’s brother is saying will only stoke those questions all the more.

Mark Epstein is pointing to some unexplained injuries that he wants answers for from the New York City Medical Examiner.

In addition to three bone fractures in Jeffrey’s neck, according to autopsy files provided to Fox News, Epstein had two contusions on both of his wrists, an abrasion on his left forearm, and deep muscle hemorrhaging of his left deltoid or shoulder.

“Those are unexplained. Was he handcuffed and struggled? Was someone holding his wrists? The marks on his wrist are unexplained,” Mark told Fox News.

The autopsy described the injuries as “faint, red contusions” located on the back of Epstein’s right and left wrists.

He also raised the same questions Dr. Baden did about whether the neck fractures were consistent with the alleged “soft hanging” – meaning where did the force or the drop come from that would usually be required to have such breaks.

Baden, who observed the autopsy, said he couldn’t make a proper conclusion about where the wrist and shoulder injuries came from until he saw the slides about how old the injuries were. He said that they’d requested that information three months ago, but that they have not been provided with that information.

Mark Epstein said he has repeatedly tried to get the information but has so far heard nothing. The executive director of public affairs at the Office of Chief Medical Examiner, Aja Worthy-Davis, claimed that they’d just gotten the request. “We received a request in the last 72 hours and are reviewing at this time.”

Both Mark Epstein and Baden were concerned about how quickly the case had been moved from “pending further study” to “suicide by hanging” in just five days when generally such cases take months of investigation before they feel they are ready to deliver a conclusion.

Criminal defense attorney David Schoen, who met with Epstein after the earlier incident on July 23 which has been variously suggested to be a suicide attempt or an attack, said that Epstein didn’t appear suicidal at the time of their meeting. He also said he didn’t believe the questionable injuries that Mark Epstein is talking about came from that earlier incident.
