Fox News conducted a poll to check what America thinks of Donald Trump’s performance as President. The news was mixed overall, but there’s one thing that Trump needs to stop doing right now, if he wants to start winning the nation to his side.

People’s views of the economy are definitely up. From October of last year, the fraction of those who think the economy is improving, has jumped from 37% to 48%, while the fraction who think it’s getting worse has falling from 48% way down to 29%.

Despite that improvement though, voters aren’t crediting Trump. He’s under 50% approval in every major category: Terrorism, Immigration, Health Care, US-Russian Affairs. Even the economy only has him at 47% approval.

But his absolutely lowest approval rating, the one thing he absolutely needs to stop doing, is on Twitter. His use of Twitter only has a 16% approval rating. 32% generously “wish he’d be more cautious,” while 50% flatly disapprove of him there.

One is left to wonder whether more voters would approve of Trump’s handling of the issues more, if only he’d close his mouth and let the experts do the talking. Because speaking for himself on Twitter sure isn’t helping his case!
