Fox News had on Kate Quigley, the sister of Glen Doherty (one of the people killed by Islamist terrorists at Benghazi*); and to say that Ms. Quigley was appalled by the way that both former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton and former President Bill Clinton have brushed off Secretary Clinton’s deadly incompetence with regard to Benghazi is to understate the case. Basically, Bill Clinton had been ostentatiously upset that his dear, dear wife was put through oh, so many tough questions by those awful Republicans from Congress. As you might imagine, this did not go over well with someone whose memories of Benghazi include a coffin.
There are many things in that article/video that will make you grit your teeth in frustration and anger at the cavalier way the Clintons’ breeze through murderous foreign policy disasters of their own making, but this particular passage will probably focus matters a bit for you:
Quigley explained that when her brother’s coffin was brought to Andrews Air Force Base, she met [Hillary] Clinton and was told that her family should feel sorry for the Libyan people.
Note those keen political reflexes, there, Although, to be fair, what could Hillary Clinton say? Aside from This was entirely my fault. I made bad decisions and allowed the President to make worse ones. I take full responsibility, and I will be retiring from not only politics, but to a retreat where I may contemplate my sins and attempt to atone for them. …I know. The very idea that Hillary Clinton could do something like that is starkly incomprehensible. Possibly even a symptom that something in the universe has broken, somewhere.

PS: Ms. Quigley ended her interview by indicating that if Joe Biden was running for President, she’d probably vote for him – pretty much because she feels that Biden was the only member of the Obama administration who acted like a human being with a conscience to her. I note this not because I agree with her on that assessment, but to forestall the inevitable argument that Ms. Quigley is being partisan. She is not. I may be when I say that this is very much a Republican/Democratic thing, and that the Democrats are operating from a position of moral depravity here, but Ms. Quigley is not.
*For those who’ve seen 13 Hours: he was one of those guys who busted [expletive deleted] to get from Tripoli to Benghazi in time to reinforce the compound. All on their own effort, of course, because Secretary of State Hillary Clinton couldn’t be bothered to expedite the relief of an attacked American station. Didn’t fit the narrative Hillary Clinton was building, you see.
